Private smokers' clubs in Colorado

Post by Lafe »

Hoping Milehigh will chime in here...

Searching does not reveal much. I'm aware of Club 64 but there's no way I will ever pay $30 to enter.

Is it possible to do any type of crawl?

Because the "public" smoking issue is still being defined, many places are not going to advertise heavily that they allow it. I have personal experience with about a half dozen places that are no problem. None are full on Amsterdam style shops but it's not Amsterdam. All are good places to meet up but to far apart to crawl I think. Some are coffeeshops with outdoor terraces, some are night spots, and some are something different all together. I know of a head shop with a living room kind of atmosphere. There is even a coffeeshop called the Amsterdam coffeeshop that has an outdoor area for this. I hear of others too. It's going to be awhile before it all smooths out and there are many more places but it will happen.

Great, thanks for the info.

Do you think it's fair to say that this time next year one might be able to crawl in either Boulder or Denver?

While I'm at it, as many times as I have been to Denver I have not used public transport. How robust is mass transit in Denver?

Thanks mate.
