5th time heading the Dam this feb and have never went night clubbin any of the last 4 times iv been.Any good nightclubs that play decent house/techno Music or anything light that thats not to expensive and close enough to the square?

First off which square? There are are several in the city. When are you visiting? Amsterdam nightlife is comprised mostly of parties. You can always go to Studio 80 on the Rembrandtplein but that doesn't mean it won't be shit. Sugar Factory for Wicked Jazz Sunday nights or Whatis Onyour Mind at Beatclub (free) on Tuesday nights. sorry Dam Square,staying in a apartment around that area,arriving 20th feb till 23rd (Thurs-Sun).Last year we went up to Leidseplein but couldent find any nightclubs just alot of bars,was very lively though.just looking for something different to do this year,cant beat a good rave!cheers for the info

Plenty good house n techno in Dam , check the guide Balou posted , wanna check out Trouw myself voted one of the best clubs in the world (think it closes this year?!)

feb the 21st Gesaffelstein is playing at Melkweg,not to far from Leidseplein,thats 1 night sorted ,again thanks for the info lads,would not of known this otherwise.always a dj i wanted to see!

I cannot recommend enough Wicked Jazz Sounds every Sunday night at Sugar Factory. Pretty much house with a live band. Awesome party that has been going on for years.

Cheeky Monday at Winston Kingdom is awesome. Get there early though, can be very hard to get in later in the night.
