Cheese-O-Lator from Bush Doctor?

Post by PhatPaulie »

I've seen this stuff pop up in a few conversations on here so I was wondering if anybody can tell me if it is worth the walk + 25 euro per gram? I'm not a hash connoisseur by any means just trying to gauge if it is strong enough to warrant the price tag? I'm not overly bothered by texture or taste (but it did look good in some pics on a travelogue) just want a strong hash to put me out.

Cheers PP..

I can't say I've tried it but I can't see it being worth €25. I've had maroc lemon from bushdoctor for €20 that should've fit into the €12-15 bracket. If you're gonna walk down there, get water pressed afghan from bluebird instead - .8g for €12.50 and that stuff will knock you out nicely

I tried both the cheese-o-later from Bushdoctor and the water pressed afghan from Bluebird a couple of weeks ago. IMO the cheese-o-later was much nicer.

But, value-wise, was it essentially worth twice as much?

IMO, it's pointless making that comparison.
A lot of the prices in Amsterdam are way higher than they should be.
I'm not interested in the best value, I want to find the best quality I can, if it costs, so be it.

You're very right old timer and I'm not denying that at all (I pay more than I should for hash all the time when I'm in dam) but phatpaulie's question is specifically asking about the price and I'm saying that for that pricetag, he can do better. That said, if money's not an issue then go for it because their hash is good and the cheese-o-later does look killer in pictures

Cheers for the replies lads. I'm always disappointed when I buy expensive hash in Amsterdam. Taste and texture are great but when you are paying 30 quid for a gram or thereabouts I want to be flattened by it. That water pressed Afghan sounds very interesting, will give that a try I reckon.

The most I have paid for hash was 40 euro for some Iceolator from Amnesia and although nice I'd take 2 gram of Kosher Kush and a gram Moroccan Tangi from Voyagers for that money every day of the week.

Sounds like I'm a right tight arse but I've been vising Amsterdam 5/6 times a year since 2001 and now live here (Tilburg) and at times it seems mental to be paying some of the prices they ask for.

Thanks again.

its more about finding the good ones. for this toke and talks work perfect. your having a mass smoke out then its whats that? what coffeeshop did you get it from? found many stunning hash iso and weed this way. surely if youve been coming 5-6 times for just over a decade youve found some gems, which are regular buys each trip.. i will buy a couple of half grams at most each trip its expensive and nowhere near as good as the homemade versions, but im a bit of a twat too and well im in Amsterdam.
i find part the reason why everythings so expensive in coffeeshops is because of sentences like this.... I'm not interested in the best value, I want to find the best quality I can, if it costs, so be it.

Shame it werent great, ive been looking for a good cheese iso or concentrate for a few years now
