Well this is funny, because I went back to the UK to visit family last week and my bag was searched. They were checking in my underwear, socks, and even in the plug holes of my travel adapter.

Regardless, they didn't find what they were looking for

I'm not sure this isn't a typical Daily Mail non-story.

I wonder how much is "personals". An ounce? I've felt the pressure off for a few trips through customs now, but you still lose it if it's found. Oh well it's a start.

I never bother as I don't think it's worth the risk.

It wouldn't have mattered where I had stashed the gear...in my rucksack or up my arsehole....they searched everywhere....even had to stand naked in front of them and pull my foreskin back....always brought gear back from Dam and it was simply a case of my number coming up I guess.....its all in my book lol

I'll read all about it at the weekend then.

Wow, now that's just plain creepy. How much do they think anyone could hide under their foreskin anyway? Those people are not right in the head.

Been caught once with 15g in my bag at Glasgow airport I never got the strip naked shit or checked under my foreskin just a quick pat down like a nite club bouncer wud give you, I got the 150 pound spot fine there and then. Through my experience of this I picked up on something and that was they won't search your body or pat you down unless you are found with stuff in your bag,I always bring stuff back with me it stays in my bag until I'm through the scanners at schipol then before I board the plane it's put in my pocket to walk through customs with. You don't even get a criminal record if you get caught so it's well worth the risk to do it

I take it then at the dutch end, they don't bother checking for you taking stuff out?

Never had a problem dutch side my bag has always got through even with 25g of magic mushies in it along with the weed and hash I'm more bothered about the uk side wen I get home not for the fact of getting caught and fined but for the chance I get caught they will take my stuff off me which really is a kick in the balls
