The food isn't too bad to be honest. It has cereals with fresh milk and hot food like bacon, scrambled eggs, sausages etc. Also the usual ham and cheese and breads etc. I stayed in a 2 person room a couple of years ago on the top floor. Was really nice and had a good view of the damrak :D

I can't comment on food as i'm never up for breakfast, but as Whippy said, the rooms on the top floor have an excellent view. The rooms themselves are nothing special when compared to standard rooms, but for Amsterdam budget accommodation they rank quite highly...

...I'd definitely stay there again... Just don't if you're a light sleeper.

Hope that's useful... Was actually tempted to book the place again for March, but i'm doing a cheap'o off in the outskirts... Maybe! :?

Looks like it... The large windows and view really make this place stand out, imo... As for the gear; we overspent a little that trip... The pic was taken on day 2 of a three day trip and we really had to do some chonging to get through it all..... Heaven!

Room was exceptionally clean when we arrived... Bit of a mess when we left, though...

...Have a blast, mate!

Yeah it definitely is. It's quite nice to chill there, they have a volcano there and they even prepare the bags for you. All you have to so is order and tell them how much you want to vape :) A friend of mine likes to go there because he says they always clean their bongs on request which is important to him. There are only a few strains on the menu, but that doesnt mean the quality is bad. I had Blueberry(10€) and Nevilles Haze (13 or 14€) the times I went there and was always proper baked. Not the cheapest place but also not the most expensive. It can be pretty packed at times and then it is hard to find a place to sit, but that goes for many shops in the center.

tl;dr
I would definitely visit the shop especially if I was staying so close to it!

I liked their Blueberry when it was 8e/g, after price went up, I go there mostly with my own weed to chill out, cause it's a great place for it. Nice, big, always perfectly clean bongs for use, good music playing there(once while properly baked i started singing at the big table:D), extremely nice staff, always helpful, never pushy about anything. They will make sure that you have a nice time being there. And buy their hot chocolate for 2e(with fucking mountain of whipped cream), definite recommendation.
Place can be packed as localzero had mentioned before but if you find yourself some place, stay and enjoy(especially when it's just around a corner)
