I Guess as low as possible, thats of course easier
said then done.
If you make your plans way ahead of time you
can really shop around.
Last time i was in Europe for the company i
had to book my room like 2 days in advance,
and boy does it get expensive.
Stayed at the old nickel for like 180 Euros
for the weekend, that's 90 Euros per night.
Had no choice, take it or don't go.....Yah as if.
I like more the 50 to 80 Euro range if possible.

see ya

Used to rent a place in the Nine Streets for around €55 p/n or so, and I think I was able to get her down to less for my one solo stay. It was on an active (that means noisy, cut-thru) street, and the building had no soundproof windows. Wonderful location, and it even had a 'canal view'.
You can't find places like this anymore, so inexpensive, informal, and well-located.
And if you DO find one, you stfu about it.
