1st Solo trip

Hi, its been a while since I've been on here, but its good to be back. I am heading to Amsterdam on Monday 24/03/14 till Wednesday 26/04/14, stopping at a great apartment I found on Beursstraat, smack bang in the middle of it all.....only difference this time, I will be solo! I have been to Amsterdam about 6 times before so am familiar with the place and customs , but just interesting to see how the experience will be on my own. It will be kind of forcing me to get out and about and mingle and not just vegetate in one spot; so hoping to meet some interesting characters Hey FlyByNite, would you be kind enough to post me on Whos In Town> - Thanks

Most of my trips are solo these days as my friends are either married, given up smoking, or both, and I find it's the total opposite to that: without a bunch of mates banging on about "let's go out and do something" I can easily spend a couple of hours loafing in a coffeeshop smoking and reading a book or doing a crossword or two. If you're 'good with your own company' it's a really pleasant laidback time.
