I saw this in yesterdays paper its a shame that they wasted over £100 per hour of taxpayers money on plod to disturb this. You can bet that they were told before they went to make sure they made a certain number of arrests no matter what it was for just to show that they would look good. Ive been arrested twice (both times for driving with no licence when I did have one a cock up at the dvla) and both times the plod who arrested me asked me if I had anything on me I shouldn't and both times I handed him my wee bag of goodies which were put away no questions asked, so I think most plod would rather people smoked cannabis that drank alcohol but whilst cannabis is still illegal they have to be shown to be forcing the law in public.
