Digressing from the thread but this reminds me of something my Bro and I still have a chuckle about when we hear the words "BC Bud".

A couple years ago I picked up some flowers from a chap I sourced from infrequently, he told me it was British Columbia Bud or "BC Bud".

Got it home and we had a smoke, we both turned our noses up, he politely asked what the strain was so I said I didn't know but it was "BC Bud", in his usual sarcastic manner he came up with his own abbreviation for what I had picked up, he decided to call it "Butt Crack Bud" on account of how bad it tasted .

And "Butt Crack Hash" is another topic on its own, so childish but funny.

Legalization IS facing bigger problems than names, AND the names are not helping. Both of these statements are true.

Nearly every voter has heard of crack, LSD, heroin, meth; even non-voters have heard of these. The images they conjure in MY head are not good images. I don't want anything to do with these things. Try explaining to a voter in Florida (my dad lives there and mj is on the ballot next month) that marijuana is NOT the same as crack, LSD, heroin, or meth when the strains are thusly named!

How many times have you heard people say, "Oh, they "laced" that joint with something..." ? I used to say that when I was younger! I now know I just had a DAMN GOOD strain and it fucked me up...it wasn't LACED with anything...Please...like that's cost-effective or something...

What's to stop people from thinking the green crack is "laced" with crack? or the LSD is "laced" with LSD? etc... This thinking will keep people from moving forward and legalizing WORLD WIDE.
