No worries, by the way I wasn't trying to say your opinions are all wrong and you don't know your stuff about amsterdam. We can both be right and wrong in other instances. I saw you recommend de graal, club media and a variety of shops to a new member so I take back saying you were only a voyagers fanboy.

Pengaldinho you got some great pics in there from de Graal, it's been a while since someone posted some de Graal goodness. Nice one!

elasticband wrote:nice pictures as always, it almost seems like you are in A'dam every other week, lucky you!
Said by a guy who lives there ;) To be fair, for me visiting as a tourist (or even just a week when friends come to visit nowadays) is a completely different ball game to the standard week.

Really nice shots ! Enjoyed the report alot =D Was also glad to see Wild Moa Pies was still open ! The last 3 times I have been (once on a Sunday, twice on Mondays) it has been shut and I was really starting to worry it had closed down, and seeing as to the best of my knowledge Alfies Pies (never actually got to go) has shut up shop, this would leave no go-to pie shop =(

Day 2

Joint of Liberty Haze and fried breakfast in the garden to start the day.
Image

Nice walk through the sunny west. elasticband thanks again for your diesel write up, saved me a lot of work time money, I did however forget to to go to Katsu which was only 200m from the front door of the apartment.

Chapiteau – second time here – free lighter and roach is cool for a 1g purchase.
1g Diesel E9 – was passed a small bud through the slot in the glass – smelt ok but when my mate smoked one, it smelt horrible and I didn’t indulge. Threw the other half g away!
Image
Image

T'keteltje – first time here, nice friendly service.
1g NYCD E10 – fresher and better bag appeal than the Chapiteau sample. Tasted nice good in my vape and better in a spliff, not full on diesel heaven – but notes of it. Mouth watering.
Image
Image
Image
0.5g AMG E5.50 – cant remember much but I liked it!
Image

Bronx – first time here too, nice local feel, no mint tea :(
Had exactly the same experience as OffieBoss (thanks mate) review on their acd page https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/Bronx.html
'On entry I thought that this was a buy and fly shop as there is no apparent seating? So I went to the counter and there was a 50ish Moroccan, he only spoke a little English so it was a bit hard to explain why I was there but as soon as I mentioned the Primera, he smiled and pulled out a big lump, this was top notch Moroccan, and he was proud to show it off, bubbled easily and was pliable.'

1g Primera E8 – rolled this in the shop – nice floral flavours and uplifting and energising high made it a great morning smoke! Superb for the money – I have had E13-15 grams of Twizzla from central shops that pale in comparison.
Image
Image
Image
1g Super Polm E8 –The resinous taste was heavier and the stone had a bit more body than the Primera, but still a nice head buzz too.
Image
Image
Image

1e Hulp – quick buy and fly, NY diesel didn’t smell better than t'k version
1g Warm Ears E9 – no pic – mate got this, I cant remember it.

Tram down to Westermarkt and walk up to

Grey Area – Holy Grail, Sour Tangie and another E16/g strain didn’t smell of anything appealing but I was attracted to:
1g Kosher Kush E16 – smell and taste was very nice, stone was nice but not overly potent.
Image
Image
Image
1g Silver Fields E13 – Was intrigued to try this from posts in the GA thread. Subtle berry flavour, smooth expansive smoke. No airy sativa buds – compact and sticky. High was nice and floaty with a little zing.
Image
Image
0.5g Shoreline E8 – very similar to De Graal's sample, thick strong flavour (and the was ash still dirty.)
Image
Image
Image
Image
Image

California Burrito Company http://californiaburrito.nl/menu – while I was in the inevitable GA que my mate was waiting outside and got one small steak and one chilli small burrito – both very good, E6 (I think) each with guacamole. My friend said they had one burrito on the menu for E16!
Image
Image

Walked down Singel to

Brotje Bert - we split a blt and a roast beef & old cheese, no apple cake :(
Image
Image
Cake shop a few doors down the ally :)

Got back to the apartment 15mins before Liverpool vs Man city which I streamed on my laptop.

Feyenoord defender Daryl Janmaat scored cracking half volley vs PSV to ensure Ajax couldn't win the title today. Hear the cheers from the arena when we were in the garden and also saw lots of Ajax shirts about town.

De Graal
1g Cream E12 – repeat purchase, enjoyed with a mint tea.

Back to the apartment for some pasta.

Watched Sammo in Odd Couple

cheese wax what did you think of it and where from Please greenplace?
did you take any pics of apartment and garden?
This is where i stayed https://www.airbnb.co.uk/rooms/357932 - I booked it quite late so there wasn't much choice, but it turned to be perfect.
Cheese wax review to come....

Day 3

Mint tea (owner of flat had kindly left us a huge bunch of mint in a glass) and a hash spliff in the garden when i woke up , it was colder and windier today.

Went to Bakken Met Passie to find it closed for the second day in a row  (should have read the opening times  ) So we went to Simon Meijssen and got a cheese croissant (nowhere near as good as the ham & cheese one from passie) and a baguette. Back to the apartment for breakfast then off to:

Holtkamp – So much to choose from, but I couldn’t not get the amazing things I have had before. I love this shop! Left with a whole Tarte Tatin , 4 frozen veal croquettes, a slice of lemon meringue pie and an Orient slice. Pics to follow in the report.
Image

Tram over to:

Bronx – had to go back here and get more hash, the price and quality are great! - cool that they give you a receipt.
Image
4g Primera- repeat purchase - I had said De Graal's cream would be my regular smoke if I lived in the Dam, but this is better value for money and still really nice.
Image
Image
Image
Image
Image
2g Super Polm- repeat purchase
Image

T'Kejtle – my mate wanted more diesel and got the S5 too.
1g NYCD – repeat purchase no pic.
1g S5 Haze – my mate enjoyed this.
Image
Image

Kashmir Lounge CS – also looked at Kashmir Speical E18 and asked about E30/g(!) Maroc icolator but it was sold out.
1g Afghan Hindu Kush E20 – I asked which of the two available had the more sativa high and it was this so i took it. Its ironic that something named Afghan Hindu Kush would be sativa! smoked a small bit of it back and the apartment and even after a lot of smoking it cut through and gave me a great clear awake buzz. Taste was earthy/minty. I saved the rest for the following morning.

Over to road to chill in the bar – 5 lighters for the price of 4.

AH to restock on a few bits
apartment

Lunch
Image
Image
Image

Loetje – got the Bali steak for the first time, which was just chilli added to the butter – but it was a nice addition, fairly subtle and complimented to other flavors.

De Graal
2.5g LA Con – I smoked a 1.5g before bed and it was amazing! I love this weed. 10/10 (and i didn't notice any premature seeds)
Image
2g Liberty Haze – looked and smelt the same but when I tried to roll a joint later it was bordering on wet inside, dried it overnight which helped a lot but I couldn’t enjoy it any where near as much as the first gram I got :(
Image
Image
Image
1g Super Cream E13 – cream crossed off and this added for E1 more per g. Taste was more spicy, with similar dreamy high. Lovely but not really E5.50 better than Bronx products.
Image
1g Amnesia E10 – Had a look out of curiosity and it looked and smelt nice so I grabbed some. Not as good as Liberty (when dry) or High Rise but it was decent )and good price)
Image

Snake in Eagles Shadow
Image
Wasabi peas – my snack of choice for kung fu films
Image
Tarte Tatin + cream :D
Image

Shoreline before bed
Image

Cheese wax - It gave me an floaty up feeling for a bit, but then my eyes got heavy & I was sucked into the sofa and had to go to bed. But I cant really objectively judge, I prefer natural Moroccans to all the ices/waxes etc that i have tried. It was strong but I preferred the more rounded buzz of the LA con. I got it for holiday fun. :D

I have had similar Shoreline from De Graal, Green Place and Greay Area - so would say check them out. And De Graal is always worth finding, even if you all ready have some shoreline :D

Day 4

Bakken met Passie – finally got our hands on more of the GODLY ham and cheese croissants  and also some olive & sun-dried tomato ciabatta to take back to accompany breakfast.

Smoked one and rolled one then got on the tram to:

Flevo park graffiti hall of fame – some idiot called snazzy lined a load of the sick pieces and put up his crappy tag. Dickhead! Not as windy as the previous day but it wasn’t the best smoking conditions, should have taken my mflb.

Stopped of at AH on the way back to the apartment.
Smoked a few and chilled till my mate had to leave.
As he got on the 16 to CS I went to:

De Graal – mint tea and SC spliff next to the chameleon.
3.5g Super Cream – repeat purchase
Image

Back to the apartment, cooked a bowl of pasta followed by:
Orient slice- which is described on their website; 'A brittle, baked frangipane crust, lightly covered with whipped cream, with on the edges balls of hazelnut bavaroise, enclosed in a thin layer of milk chocolate. In the core a ball of walnut cream, in which thin shards of orient mass (caramel with nuts) have been placed.' WOW! It was amazing!
