pics are really good as always. I checked out your link for airbnb, howmuch did you pay per night.
It was quoting me 186 in too nights time. For that price, Ive seen some 5* designer places in Jordaan,
Grachtengordel and so on....
Cheers. I cant remember exactly how much, it was close to 100 per night -split between 2 people. I was hoping another friend was coming but he pulled out at the last minute. And I really wanted to to stay in De Pijp, this was the cheapest apartment available at short notice for my dates.

Yeh 100 a night is pretty reasonable, just the quoted 186 seemed ridiculous.
Great reporting
I also try and opt for De Pijp when I can

This is absolutely one of the best trip reports I have ever read. Great pictures! I will for sure be hitting up the Original California Burrito Company in July!

I revisited coffeeshop Bronx cos of this report and it was worth it for the hasj. Tasty "Primera" and less-tasty-but-very-powerful Superpolm (this one was bubbly sticky), and indeed a good price at 2g for 15e. Weed was bad though: rotten unsmokable Silver Super Skunk and barely-acceptable harsh Silver Haze. Forgot to stop at 't Keteltje, was meaning to buy some AMG cos it looked outstanding in the pics (long trichomes).

The amg from t'kel is a treat.

The amnesia from superkarkt is a great example last night. Dry hazey amnesia

Good to hear you enjoyed Bronx hasj's - I didn't even think to look at their wiet, I'm glad now!
Yeah, I'm remembering that the the AMG had a nice lemon cleaner smell/taste. Yummy stuff.

Quality report again, thanks for the graffiti shots(yes, shame about that toy !), too. Next time I'm in the Dam I'll have a go at that Silferfields from the Grey Area(has been a while anyway)and hope for that LA Confidential and Shoreline at De Graal.

Bronx coffeeshop: I've been there around 2009/2010 once. Remember had some of their best and older barely english speaking moroccan budtender left us alone for a minute while we already sat down to get some fresh mint from a flat next door. Really nice of him! Checked them out as HasjDreamer on here mentioned this place in one of his wonderful travelogues(thanks for that !).
I know lots of these 'moroccan/arabic' set ups when it comes to coffeeshops( Labda Labda & Ketama/Nijmegen, Casa & Africa/Tilburg, Casa Blanca(shithole but thier 'Twizzla' for 8€ is at least ok)/Eindhoven, Sympathy & Florence & Seventh Planet / The Hague spring to mind only to name some). Even though they tend(!)to suck weedwise their hashish is mostly spot on for a good price(8-10€). Often no exceptional(e.g. 'Super Cream') quality available but good to very good gear and prices. On holiday I'm looking for outstanding(and too often overpriced)stuff but as said elsewhere on here such places would be my local place to pick up or hang if I would live in the Netherlands. By the way last but not least there are lots of places like that in Rotterdam, all over the place - only downside is that they are mostly take-away-only. To cut a long story short: I totally see where you're coming from there .

I liked the Kashmir Lounge despite being a tad too dark for chilling but didn't find anything to my liking at their coffeeshop(according to the mixed reviews of that place it seems to be hit and miss). In fact I should have a look on evenings there. When I read this travelouge I really expected weed named like that due to your description of the effects instead of a picture of black hash('Afghan Hindu Kush')popping up a few seconds later, nice you enjoyed it.
I agree as well, 30€ for some moroccan ice-o-lator sounds a bit crazy, especially so far outside centrum(on the other hand Bushdocter gave their version away for a only slightly cheaper price if memory serves me right). I doubt it but I would pay that price for this kind of quality I saw pictures years ago from on the internet(pretty melty and impressive looking stuff). At least always worth a look to check, right ?
On my visit back then I discovered http://www.restaurantbiladi.nl/ around the corner and can recommend it foodwise or if Bronx fails to deliver some moroccan whisky !

Keep up your reporting like that and thanks again!

Thanks Jesscass. I was also inspired to check out Bronx after reading HasjDreamer's report (thanks HD! :D ) I now get a picture of the Rotterdam CS scene from your Hia City report. I like these shops but as you say they will probably only rarely have exceptional stuff, I too am looking for outstanding(and almost inevitably overpriced) when on holiday (Hope the Super 'Super Cream' comes back @ De Graal).
Thanks for the biladi tip - i will try to remember to visit on my next trip to Bronx. Now that Betty Boop is going i will probably go here on my morning arrival for hash.

I really like Kashmir Lounge but it its a bit too dark in the back and the floor seats in the Buddha room, where its much brighter, can be uncomfortable/some times people chain smoke cigs in there. It was my first time in the CS across the road and the service was nice and friendly. I was surprised to be told the Afghan Hindu Kush was a sativa - and it was a really good one, it had me flying when i smoked it in the morning before going to Flevo Park. :D
I was intrigued with the E30/g iceo as you say because the shop is so far from centrum. Yes Bushdoctor's does have similar prices - I had the Aslama @ E25/g last summer, not worth the money but really nice with strong minty flavors.

Hope you find the strains you want in stock and good condition on your next trip to Dam. :)

Cheers mate. The Afghan Hindu Kush E20/g was really nice - a bit like the Rootang from Anyday of a few years ago which I remember you posted a pic of. :D
De Graal is always my go to place for hash, usually whats good there is whats good in town. Have a good trip!
