Loosing my cherry11th - 14th May

Post by fingerman »

Hey guys and gals first post on here but by no means a stranger to posts or pot :)
Setting out early on the 11th May can't wait!
Am meeting a friend of mine there he lives about 40mins away but would appreciate if anyone has any good coffeeshops for a Sunday morning? 9:30ish
Am thinking a nice smoke followed by some breakfast ready for my first day.
I heard barneys is good for brekkie is this still the case?
Looking to pop in to voyagers on tuesday to have a try of their tester got my heart set on hunters and greenhouse as I watch strainhunters too much ha!
Any other ideas would be great! I love my indicas and really looking forwad to getting some decent hash.
All your help would be really appreciated.
Hope to see some of you out there have no plans apart from getting lean so let me know.
Peace!

Welcome to the forum.

You have been posted on the May Whos In Town page.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.

If you don't see yourself, click your refresh or reload button
Your browser sometimes loads pages from your local cache and
you don't get the latest update.

Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.

Set yourself up with your own T&T or Toke and Talk, where you pick the coffeeshop
(your favorite) and the date and time, I will post it and you wait for folks to
show up, if they do you'll have a T&T. If they don't you still get to enjoy your
favorite coffeeshop!

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

You can do a little practice shopping on the Coffeeshop Menus page.
Any with arrows are less than six months old.

Any nice new menu pictures you can get will be much appreciated.
Always ask first, better told no than thrown out.

Enjoy

It's a matter of taste and budget.

Barney's for breakfast is very nice, quality of food is consistent. Great to toke and eat especially for a newbie to Amsterdam on a sunday morning : >

Greenwoods is also top notch breakfast place imho…. but you will not be smoking there.

I often buy my first smoke at Barney's as a little holiday treat, but rarely stay long. If you are walking there from centraal station along Haarlemmeerstraat you will pass a small cafe called La Grotte on your right hand side (directly opposing Popeyes coffeeshop) , its about 250m further to Barney's, you also pass the Dampkring 2 coffeeshop on the right. You can not buy your smoke in Le Grotte but you can smoke what you bought else where, get a good feed and even have an alcoholic drink if you choice.

So within twenty minutes of alighting the train in amsterdam I have usually bought some top weed in Barney's, some smooth Riffman hash from the Dampkring 2 and I'm sat in La Groote waiting for my breakfast to be delivered with a large joint in my hand and a smile on my face.

Have a great trip
I like bananas, monkey nuts and grapes. That's why they call me Sam of the apes

I'll be there that week. Hoping to visit some coffee shops in Amsterdam and get over to Haarlem for Coffeeshop Birdy.
I'll watch the calendar for any T & T
