my only issue with LA - is that you must be a resident and have a medical card.

but the beach and parts of the area are quite lovely
you need a car to do anything

CA is a beautiful state with a lot to offer (even if weed is still not totally legal for everyone)

A little Google, and I came up with the Netherlands has more homeless than the USA compared to population, not munch more, not enough to use it as a comparison, we all have this problem on this planet. Now back to real comparisons, Coffee shops are unique to the Netherlands, they were first and every one else is doing there best to keep them from opening any were else in the world

Ha ha. I live in Denver. I lived in Amsterdam. My sweetheart was born in Amsterdam and says Denver is better. Denver it is. It's a spectacular place nestled up against the Rocky Mountains with an incredible night life, dozens of micro brewery's, two theme parks, a water park, museums galore, a great public transport system, most places walkable, bike rentals everywhere, oh, and legal weed. But I may be a little biased as I love it here.

No helmet laws of any kind I might add. Rent a Harley and take a ride in the mountains.

Agreed USBL, and there are a SHITLOAD of Elk, Muley’s, and other animals in Colorado that when you get into an argument with them on a Harley…YOU LOSE! Shot a few and put them on my walls and in my freezer, just to get even for a lost biker or two. LOL. But both areas have their merits, beauty and deficiencies.

This last Saturday I was hanging out with Steve Hagar at Hunter S. Thompson's house in Aspen Colorado and he told me about the "Munchie Cup" he would be putting on there in mid August. I think there are only about 200 judges passes being sold so if you have an interest in seeing the cannabis scene at it's best, now is the time to make some plans. Hunters house is like a time capsule. His lovely wife Anita has left the grounds and the house exactly as it was when Hunter was alive. There are still shot gun shells laying in the yard. The kegs he used as targets are still there in their original spots. Hunter bought the red chevy convertible from the Fear and Loathing movie and it is parked in the yard. There are peacocks everywhere. Both inside and out. Inside the home is really cool. His dot matrix printer is still on the table. His dictionary of American Slang has dozens of book marks in it. His dream catcher made of shotgun shells is hanging on the wall. From the ceiling hang hand cuffs, whips, chains, and other assorted odd items. Hunters cat is still alive and was happy to have some company. A quarter mile walk up his property brings you to the labyrinth where the cannon shot his ashes out over the mountains. It is a very spiritual place with a strong Gonzo vibe. I think Steve is advertising his gig and new magazine on the Facebook. This will be the event of all events. I am booked and looking forward to it.
