My Dad and Mam are overwhelmed by the amount of support and good wishes
from ACD members....You're a very special bunch of people (when not killing each other on other topics )....
I will keep you up to date on how it goes with Dad...

Just a quick acknowledgement to a true gentleman USBONGLORD....Because of your generosity bro my Dad is on SPOON since last Friday...
The God damn tuomour is 7.5" x 5.3" from back to front on the right side of his brain...He is due to go under the knife again in 30 days if his health stays the same
so im really interested to see what 30 days of Bong's oil and the stuff a friend is sending me from Barcelona will do to the fucking monstrosity in his head...

Through all the crap of the last few years Friday night was a great laugh with my parents and the oil...My mam was nervous coz "IT'S" illegal,she even pulled down the blind
in the front room ...i gave it to dad on a small piece of bread which he rolled up and swallowed like a tablet with a mouthful of coke and said "right then cancer ya prick
see how ya like this shit" ...to which i said "wow i never saw anyone take that much in one go before"...it took him about 5 secs to cop i was pulling his leg...
the only odd thing he did in the next hour before going to bed was to ask me while i was in the middle of a chat with Mam "DO YOU LIKE TEA??" real loud... I broke my ass laughing as he went on to say he can't stand it although he loved it when he was younger...Mam asked me was he high now??? again the laughter...

All we can do is hope it works and i get to keep my Dad and mate for a while longer...

Hi folks as you can imagine ive had feck all free time in the last while with my Dad...Thanks for the messages again(Hi Luvtick see ya in November )...
Dad Went into Beaumont hospital in Dublin last wednesday and underwent a 4.5hr operation to remove the tumour on the right side of his brain
and so far so good ....He had a hardtime for a couple of days as the steroids they give you to help reduce swelling on the brain can also give you
very bad hallucinations and in my 73 yr old Irish Dad,s case they were fucking mad,i wasnt there when the kicked in...The walls were falling away to
nothing on him and he was full sure the planes landing at Dublin airport passing by his ward were turning into cars and driving off and thought the
doctor and 2 nurses trying to get him up off the floor and back into bed were nuts not seeing this,to the point he head-butted the nurse and kicked
the doctor in the guts and told them both to keep away to fuck...This from a man that never raised his hand to me or my sisters..

I arrived with mam the next morning and he was embarassed by what had happened but was full sure it happened all the same cos he'd look at the
wall beside his bed and then tell me none of that was there not a bit of it and big planes landing...i told him me and the lads would pay for a trip like that
and he nearly lost himself laughing (it was a memory moment )....
Anyways back to the story at hand which is dad was released from hospital yesterday in great form with a huge fuckoff scar on his head but its at the back
and top so he doesnt care ....A local health nurse will call in 2 times a day for a few weeks and check up on him....I got some oil in from spain but hes reckons
Bong's oil knocks "the spicks oil" (his words) outta the water ....he's taking it twice a day and will continue to do so until his next mri scan in 6 weeks to see if anything left
behind kicks off again ...Not bad for a man that lost his left jaw to cancer 2 yrs ago ....Round 3

Once again a massive thanks to all that read or replied to my post

And to US-Bonglord you will go down in History with my family and friends for giving my dad a chance to sleep,eat,be pain free and laugh and be himself leading up to his Operation
plus you gave him hope in other people's generosity....I cant wait to see you in November for a Big Irish Thank You from me and a few friends bro Cheers ....

Just a quick update and closure on the thread
Dad is doing amazingly well since his operation...Three weeks after the tumour removal he went out to
try and play 6 holes of golf and to his and my amazement he played 18 and qualified for the captains prize(a big shiny cup )...
i'm so happy to have him back to his old self and being able to enjoy his company for a bit longer...
Thanks for listening folks and dont forget to tell the ones you love the most that you love them daily

looking forward to the cup in november 22nd -25th
