The story so far

Post by Smith2 »

Sour Kush & Grand Cru: Utopia

Sour Diesel & King Hassan: de Graal

Citronella: Utopia

Honey Hash: Prix d'Ami

Honey Moroccan: Betty Boop (5g deal on someone's recommendation here, well worth it)

Nepal: Kandinsky

Turkish: Paradox

Gardela, Tblisa: de Graal

Voyagers & Central on the agenda for tomorrow.

But never the top floor again, if I can help it. Marginally surprised to still be alive.

Rain today. Frankly welcome after yesterday's excessive heat. And it's easier to keep things safe & accessible in a leather jacket.

So is it jacket weather or not? This is not a trivial matter, if the only jacket to hand is a heavy one.

That top floor is brutal. Been there myself. Take a quick nap on the 2nd landing basecamp after a particularly long day.
How much did you produce?

Thanks for sharing, maybe you need one of those vests that fishermen or photographers wear plenty of pockets

Enriched now by Tbilsa from Rusland, TT from Voyagers, Nepal from Blues Brothers, something Moroccan I can't remember from Kabouter & Somari from Katsu.

Strange experience at Central. Asked for 3g of Warm Ears (Eng. name used), budtender shows piece of maybe 6g. But instead of cutting a piece off, he scraped out the offcuts. Leaving aside the fact that it didn't look like 3g -- you wouldn't do that, would you? Not without asking, and not if there was a decent chunk. I just walked out, but I'd never had problems with the shop before, even in the early hours when it was the only game in town, just about.

OK, nobody else was shocked. Or has read this.

Remembered that the Kabouter Moroccan was King Hassan. Since then, records seem to have deteriorated. Nepal from Siberië was exceptional this time, after a couple of visits when it was frankly indifferent. Though I only ended up there because every other place I was considering for a smoke before an exhibition in the Nieuwe Kerk was shut for the sake of the kiddywinks. Utopia would have been the natural choice, but it was out, along with Anyday, Betty Boop and Resin. Ended up smoking it with the Somari in the pub across from Utopia that advertises itself as a smoker-friendly pub – the sort of place I'd never been into before, and tend not to go into.

A few repeat purchases, and a final gram of Strawberry Sour Diesel from Voyagers. I finally confessed my vaporiser virginity, which I then subsequently lost. Intriguing, but not a proper test, coming as it did on the heaviest and last smoking day.

I might put up some pics, if anyone's actually out there. Of smokeables, or possibly cats.

It was very quiet when I was there: tennis highlights & some current footy on, two lads having a drink & smoke. More sitting outside, though not smoking much if at all. Probably a lively place to watch the World Cup & maybe even Wimbledon at some point.

Some hash I met:

Thanks for sharing mate, please don't tell me that Resin has been hit with the close to schools rule, I visit this place every morning on my trips to the Dam as it opened at 7am.

Great live report and more photos please! That hash photo is giving me a minor OCD meltdown cos none of it's labelled!! And I've not been back to Central since I was given the short service one morning a couple years back. I generally find the quality to be pretty patchy there too..
