Amsterdam Escape

Post by Sleepymum »

Hi Folks

Planning a long weekend trip in October for hubby's birthday and was looking at the Snug with Amsterdam Escape.
Anyone any recent feedback on it. Stayed in one of escapes apartments about 5 years ago and they were very good. Loved the relaxed atmosphere and being able to smoke when ever we felt like it..
If anyone has any other recommendations for an apartment that you can smoke in... Please let me know. (Budget about 350 for 3 nights)...

Thanks a million

I've read those reviews thanks...just a bit concerned that there isn't any recent ones.

Is there any other accommodation similar to this. Not looking for a hotel, much rather an apartment as it is more relaxed and like the fact that you can smoke...

This is my post from our stay in oct/2012, unless its gone to complete shit I think you'll be fine

Amsterdam Snug is a wicked little apartment , easy access , roughly halfway between Voyagers & HSB@Market
Plenty of room for 2 , small kitchenette(sp) , with everything you need ,mini bar in fridge(basically filled with water, soft drinks & beer), washer/dryer , helped as it rained most of the week
Huge double bed , tv/dvd/ps , bongs & pipes for use ,Vocano which we forgot about    Perry the guy who lives upstairs & looks after it was waiting to let us in & is a great guy very helpful , gave us a g of Voyagers SLH as a welcome  .
We were allowed to stay until our taxi turned up (they sorted our taxi both ways , no problems whatsoever )so no sodding around with luggage  when we go back which Wifey is determined to do we'll more than likely go back here

Well worth staying there

I'd add that seeing as your going in October , when it rained , a fairly big puddle formed outside on the road , check best you can what's coming before going up or down the stairs
Haven't been back but would happily stay again
Enjoy your trip
Sending out the good vibes to those that need them right now :-)

Dikker
Thijs fenice hotel
house boat hotel
amsterdam stay
These are some of the recommendations from my side and I hope that you can feel free whatever you want to do there with your friends and also one more important thing is that they have the discount rates offering for a group stay.
