19 eur for two grams of Blue Cheese at De Prijs, two crispy sparkly buds with those light colored almost pink hairs, very decent.

Blue lagoon's Cheese is strong-ish but I found quite a lot of small seeds in there, maybe that's why it seemed wrong to you EB?

I saw some 11.50 p/g bb cheese at Basjoes (amstelveenseweg) but was lacklustre looking. did try a gram of Bubblegum (10.50) and a gram of Casey (12.50) there, Bubblegum was one big bud, beautiful, but revealed itself as filled with brown/grey mildew when broken up, Casey Jones was okay potency but harsh and joint had to be re-lit constantly.
Heh, the basjoes dealer noticed that there was only one large nug of Casey left sitting on a bed of shake, and tried to fob me off with a gram of the shake, good effort

thanks for your insights, one shop you might have success is coffeeshop pacific. a few months ago i bought some bubblegum there and it was strong. So strong that it prompt me to wonder if this coffeeshop's very local setup and feel, might be a good indicator for quality?!

Big Buddha Cheese at Tweede Kamer was decent this week when I tried it, strong indica effect, well cured and tasty - think it was around 10 a gram.

Gonna have to take a look at that. Cheers.

A while back I think Old Amsterdam was selling White Cheese but I remember reading it was off menu and didn't get to the shop at the time.

HF cheese rules. Blue cheese at Bluebird is normally good too.

So on Friday I tried some of the BBC from Boerejongens (from the original branch), which was apparently 10e a gram. Seemed to be a decent strength, and gave me some serious giggles, but worth pointing out that I was drinking at the time, and I don't know how strong it was actually rolled. The guy who provided it is a bit of a weed snob and he was pretty happy with it.

Also grabbed a gram of the Fromage Bleu from Voyagers which is 10e at the moment. It maybe didn't seem quite as nice back when it was 12e, but it still had a nice skunky, cheese smell, and nice looking, very dry buds. I would do a proper review, but this was also bought on Friday, after I was pretty drunk, and upon getting home the bud had become a little squashed......not really worthy of a picture. Seem to remember it smoked nice, indica dominant, but I will write a little update after I smoke the rest of it today.

Boerejongens BB Cheese had many small seeds/seedlets inside (a common theme with a'dam cheese? komijnekaas anyone?), plus I'm not sure how clean their weed is currently.
I refilled with 4g of BC at prijs, nicely crunchy and makes for good vapor.

Went by a few shops in de Pijp area for cheese and it was a pitiful sight, Papillon, Nice Place, Blue Sea, Keeper, Katsu, Pacific, saw no cheese worth buying. They were charging 10-12 p/g for mostly scraggly small buds without aroma, one dealer tried to defend his tub of twiggy fingernail-sized bud with "but Cheese is always small buds like that".

If anywhere in Amsterdam is selling the real deal exo cheese I would be very surprised. Just have a read of this thread, no one reports of weed that proper stinks, if it doesn't stink to high heaven its not the exo cheese! I'm talking a g in a bag would stink a whole room out.

Dunno if it was "the real deal exo cheese" but the gram of cheese i bought in Utopia certainly stank the whole room, circa october 2012.

It was NOT the BB cheese.
It had a really pungeant nose tickling fruity smell, well grown and processed lime green spear shaped buds with fluorescent pink/orange hairs.smell transferred to a mouth coating creamy taste, and it knocked my socks off properly.
