On my next trip I will be returning to Bakken met Passie and Holtkamp Patisserie to get some amazing sweets/pastries etc. I have recently got a taste for Cupcakes - which seem to be a trend in the street food scene, some better than other but the good ones are   . I like having a section of various flavored bite sized cakes and having that in Dam sounds like heaven to me. :D I loved the banana peanut butter, lemon and lime and salted caramel ones.
So has anyone had good cupcakes in Amsterdam?
I didn't think there would be so much choice, but from a quick look:
Van Ness Cupcake on Spuistraat -looks the best, has seasonal menu with some nice sounding cakes. http://www.vannesscupcake.com/Menu.html

Hello,
I get good ones from Cupalacake on Westermarkt (near Anne Frank house) and they do plenty of mini and midi sized ones. Usually get a selection of mini's for my friend to treat his 3 young kids.
Also do very nice sarnies too.
Here you go with a link http://www.cupalacake.nl/cake
Cupcake porn pics too!
Enjoy and no drooling on your keyboard.
