Anyone ever had any issues with Damcity? ....I'm about to book an apartment, but i'm a little concerned about the lack of any obvious security on their booking page... I'm a little paranoid about giving my CC number on such a cheap looking page...


...Can somebody please alleviate my worry?

seem like a few folks have rent the amsterdam cribs, i havent seen a post with any issues
but if you dont like the website,, move on to another site that you trust,, i have never used them ,, just http://www.amstersamstay.com,, and never had a problem

Cheers Matty... I usually use Amsterdamstay, but the prices of the DamCity apartments take some beating... I see they've been in operation for quite a while now, so there's really no reason to distrust them, but still... I guess i might just have to take a risk...

...Banks tend to give you your money back if your account get's drained by unscrupulous foreigners, right? :wink:

I booked with Damcity. So far the communication has been good. We are very excited to check out the digs

anybody got a recent review on a dam city apartment ? any other accommodation suggestions would be great also. I am currently split between voyagers or hotel inntel on the same street as utopia or look for an apartment.

I have used amsterdamescape.com numerous times. They never disappoint.
