Round Trip airfares: Sept 10-17

BWI>DEN: Frontier $250, Southwest $430

IAD>AMS: United $860, KLM $1207

Three to four times the price to start.

Well worth the money IMO....but you have a blast in Denver ...I lived in Longmont for a few years..there was weed then ,but now it should be epic,go to the zoo and if ya like to trout fish there's some Fantastic lakes in the foothills..big bear, central city...lots to do

It's funny, I could visit AMS for 2 weeks, no problem. But in thinking of Colorado, maybe a week at most, especially if there is skiing.

I've never been to colorado but in theory I agree with you... I love amsterdam.... 2 weeks would cost me a fortune.. Plus I'm not a big fan of the Dutch food so 2 weeks sounds Long. Additionally , with all the changes lately it kinda blows...one of the reasons ,as an American, I loved it so much is how cannabis lovers were embraced and welcomed instead of persecuted...I know it has not changed much but little by little they are making me feel unwanted....but I still love it and plan a 2016 trip.....

i am up for denver, the weed cost less and there a different set of strains compared to the dam,but is anyone allowed to buy from the dispensary?if so i am going.usa got more things to do.so for 2 week denver wins.the amount i spend in amstedam is a $100 plus on weed a day.i know the states will do a ounce for $150,upwards.when in the netherlands,i vist harlaam, hauge, utrech, there prices are cheaper{couple of euros}it nice to see normal dutch life instead of tourist traps in the dam

Dam cost me €60 for a return flight for my next trip.
Denver I'm guessing 500-750 depending on route and airline. Plus two three weeks accommodation.
Think for people in Europe we should be looking at Spain rather than America.
Don't get me wrong I'd love to check America's "pot" scene but can't justify the air fair.

they're tightening up in Spain now some clubs are already been closed down. But I'm with you, Spain is going to be the new hot spot for weed

if you're in europe you can also hit denmark... christiana. :-)

obviously if you're in europe it'd be cheaper to do spain vs colorado.... but man... lots to do in Co.... anything outdoors...

thing is... neither is like amsterdam.

walking around, smoking....

coffeeshops...

its just different.

Would REALLY appreciate it if you post your observations and experiences after you have visited Denver. We are planning a bachelor party and would love a little on the ground intel before we get there. Thank you.

Edibles seem the way to go in public in CO. And Air Bnb has plenty of flats showing up now that are smoker free in Denver, pretty cool.
