Amsterdam Coffeeshop Directory Forums

New to the forum, but regular visitor to Amsterdam over the last 15 years or so. Will be spending my time between Utopia, Grey Area and Voyagers, plus a few more I've seem good reports of on the forum. Used to spend a fair bit of time at the Nes Cafe, but it's changed hands and no longer smoker friendly I here. Such a shame, I've lost count of the number of times I've pulled a whitey in there.

As I don't moke hardly now I'll have to stick to sativa for the first couple of days, I think I'll start with some good Rifman hash and see how it goes.

Good to see the Directory going strong, keep up the good work!

I agree, it's a shame about t'Nes and I don't think there is a comparable alternative place at the moment.
Best hope for some decent weather so you can sit outside with whatever you fancy.

Flying in Sunday 31st August about tea time, leaving Tuesday 16th September. Still got the Batavia to hold up in (they know me there), I don't think I've passed out in there yet.

Hey Big Steve. I'm there from 26th Aug to 1st Sep. Do you wanna meet on 31st? I have a good list of coffeeshops I wanna visit so wherever you want is cool. I'm staying at Bulldog Hotel so a lot of the coffeeshops are quite close. Let me know.

Best not, elliottcaudron. I only smoke when I go to Amsterdam these days so I have to be really careful the first couple of days otherwise I end up on my back. I'll probably spend most of my first night smoking at the hotel, where there's a nice comfy bed handy.

Thanks for the offer though, if it hadn't been my first night I would have been up for it.

Big Steve. 1ehulp is a good place not commercial and smoker friendly o prob some of the best gear in town too.

Thanks for that, had a look at the 1e hulp menu and it looks pretty good, and very reasonable. A bit further west than I usually go, but it's only about 1km from Dam Square (according to Google) and that's no distance. I'll be in town for a couple of weeks so I'm sure I'll find the time to sample their menu.

I see they open early as well, that's a bonus. Always used to like spending my mornings at the Utopia with Ingi, but that was before the 250m school rule came in.

Ya it's a bit out of the way. But it's worth the walk only take 10 mins from dam square. If I remember rightly we went down the right hand side of the super Market and took a left further on lol. Sorry been a while. It's not normaly to packed and the atmosphere is good.
What's this 250m school rule? Becuase I want to visist utopia heard only good things.
