Long time lurker so thought I would join. I've been a few times before but always with a group.

I've planned a few days in November and wanted to know is Amsteram the sort of place you can go solo?

I went last year on business and managed to find a fatastic apartment near Rembrant Plaza so have managed to get that again.

well done for joining..I have found this site to be a wealth of knowledge !!

Ive been 5 time over the last 10 years or so..I have loved every trip but and have been with freinds or g/f..
Every time I wish I had at least a couple of days by myself to do things at my own pace and go ,see, do exactly what I want.
If you have been before then you pobably know your way not to get too lost so you will be fine

It's easy to be alone,and fun too...done that twice..ya see a lot more in your own little world when ya. Just take it easy no hurries. Enjoy....a lot of us are there in November if ya get lonely

bring a coat for slight rain maybe an umbrella incase of lots of rain. dam is a truly great place to go solo.. you get to do everything you want go to all the coffeeshops you want to visit or whatever. theres usually acders in town if you get bored or even create a toke & talk
