Hi I am planning to visit Washington next month to check out the scene, having done Denver in Jan and BCN last month.
I am aware there are far less recreational dispensaries in Washington but as there seem to be no trip reports would anybody on the scene be able to provide info on where the best place to base a stoner trip from might be? I thought Seattle but there appears to only be one rec dispensary on the outskirts of the city, there seem to be a few more in Tacoma but not sure how far these places are apart etc and how and where consumption is tolerated?
Any advice gratefully received.
Any Washingtonians able to describe the recreational scene?

I live here. It's expensive. Expect lines. If you know an mmj card holder go through them.

That's about right. There are cheaper grams. Like I said I'd find someone with an mmj card or perhaps wait until the scene grows a bit

Green Rush
Legal marijuana crops are redefining rural Washington towns—and making one-time illegal growers and their new investors rich.
Riverside, Wash.—Apple orchards, pastures and alfalfa fields fan out from the Okanogan River along an area locals call the Flats. The land here in north central Washington is baked amber, fringed by sage and lined by pines that trace the river from its source in British Columbia. Low humidity, clear skies and a late frost make the hills ideal for crops.
