Following Rez’s example, I’ve begun to create a t-shirt shop. So far it only has one design – a simple t-shirt with the glowing leaf on the front and the ACD map on the back. The glowing leaf is a large, hi-res version of the design on the opening page of the main site.
The map is the large ACD map of Amsterdam.
I intend to add more designs and to create a US dollar-based version soon. In particular, I’d like to create an “Official ACD Correspondent” design. If you have any other suggestions or comments, please let me know.
I suggest you add the URL of the Main ACD page and the ACD forum... and maybe the ACD shop URL too... more traffic to the main site, more members to the forum, more sales from the ACD shop... more MONEY !!
Both of you guys have got to figure a way to sell to us poor amerikans.
I would purchase shirts from both sites if they shipped tou.s. without it costing more than the shirt.
You are an official correspondent if you email me your reviews when you get home from your trip so this can be worn quite honestly. It may have some blagging potential
Don’t worry Twitch, I haven’t forgotten you. Once I’ve got some ideas together, I’ll create a US version with the same designs.
I’ve made a start on a US shop now. It’s slightly different because Spreadshirt US supplies different t-shirts. At time of writing there is more on the UK shop than the US one. Both are operational but will be improved and expanded as and when I get time.
I got my "Official ACD Correspondent" shirt ordered. Whooohooo! Had a little trouble using my credit card but it all worked out. This is a good way to identify yourself if you're going for an ACD meetup with other ACD folks. Peace.
