A Seattle cannabis lifestyle shop, Trichome, is hosting several "Cannabis And Coffee" tastings, giving customers the option to add cannabis oil to a cup of coffee. The idea is to enjoy something called a "Northwest Speedball" (defined by Urban Dictionary as the combined effects of a lot of caffeine and a lot of THC). The high is apparently bolstered by the heightened energy of the caffeine, keeping you focused and buzzed.
This isn't an ordinary cup of joe either. Trichome is offering cups of "bulletproof coffee", a recent evolution of coffee that mixes butter and oil into the brew. According to some, several health benefits can be culled from bulletproof coffee, including promoting weight loss and boosting focus.
No word on when you'll be able to get a cup of cannabis coffee in SF, but considering that marijuana is almost as legal here as it is in Washington state, we're sure someone in the Bay Area is working hard on it. If you happen to be taking a trip to Seattle, the store will be hosting a few more events before the end of the year. "
