Great pic from Cafe Welling, Mondragon. That place is directly across from where I stayed the last 2 times I was in A'dam. Being situated in a tower/recording studio at the backdoor of Concertgebouw was amazing. By the time I got in from roaming the coffeeshops, I was too wrecked to venture into a very local bar. I had also planned ahead and gotten biers before my nightly 'smoke and drink myself stupid' missions. Alas, my friend who resided there has moved back to the states, and my hostess has sold the place and moved to Rivierenbuurt.

Yeah, they weren't very welcoming, but so what, the beer was excellent! So anyway, I round off with my last day and departure on Sunday, checkout is not until noon, and I can stash my bag there for a while freeing me for an epic wander. My flight is at 21.15, I have about 17E left with no hope of replenishment, and loads of weed and a bit of hash left, so I smoke up like fuck after breakfast at the balcony of bliss until check out, all is well, no extras. My vague plan is to walk to the Westerpark, in no hurry at all, wander through Vondelpark in the autumnal sun with a little number, exit at the end of Overtoom, if I had more cash I'd go to a c/s, but onwards, up Kostverlorenkades, all three of them in the end, walk like fuck for miles, get to the Westerpark and there is some crazy kids festival on, not suitable for smoking up near, so I walk until near the central tip of it, and sit by the canal for an hour and a half smoking my way through as much as I can, few pure joints, few pipes.
I check my bearings on my mapping systems (The Amsterdam Coffeeshop Map App with the stoned cats face seems more reliable than Google Maps, even though it USES Google Maps, how does that work?) And cut along Haarlemmerweg (I think) and so on until I hit Singel where I see this

Interesting! Follow Singel round until I'm on Leidsestraat, then back to hotel, pick up bag, then off on the walk to Voyagers as its 5ish by now and I have a schedule. Buy my ticket to Schiphol before going into Voyagers in a moment of clarity, leaving me 10E exactly, In I go, and Amnesia t 8E would allow me to get a coffee as well if only they had it. But they are sound people and sell me 8es worth of Fromage Bleu so I can have a coffee as well. Of course I didn't need to buy weed anyway as I had about a half q s worth of all the best shit from the trip, as I'm a bit of a best til last type, so; Holy Grail, LA Silver they didn't even have any left of,Ward'A'Reekn, some Blueberry still, the Citral AND the Fromage Bleu, which smelt lovely. I don't think I got any wet weed on my trip, musta got lucky!

So went at it, Bong, pipe, doob 'Cano, 'Cano, pipe bong, forwards and backwards til I felt just like Chong, ridiculous! finally reduce it to one joint, smoke it, and, shit, it's a bit past 7, I am as well wrecked as I've been outwith edibles, which I didn't bother with this trip. Fortunately I have learned to maintain, have some chocolate to stave off a semi-whitey, woooop, off to airport, make a point of being alert. Get to airport, nae cash, nae dope- I have completed my mission as best as possible... Back to Glaswegia, Amsterdam, you've been great, so too Utrecht and Leiden...
