Well extracts of it anyway. So cannabis is evil and must be banned. But its fine to chemically extract certain parts of the plant for medicine. Just as long as they don't get you high. Or get your kids high.

It does make me wonder if open research had been done in the past fifty years rather than prohibition just how many other useful compounds and medicines we would have. And how many people failed by many of todays medicines could be living better life's.

It's a start. At least the right people are now getting help. Medical mj is a completely different thing to legal mj.

You are right maybe instead of being completely outlawed a lot more research would be done into helpful uses.

But just look at morphine for example and all the other painkillers derived from opium.....
They have all come about, even though it's a hard drug despised by all.
