I had several pizzas at Vapiano, da portare Via, and La Perla. Although the quality of all shops were similar, the combination of shrimp, ananas, and ruccola at Vapiano was the best for me.

You didn't try Mangiamore on de Maasstrast? Best in Amsterdam imo.

Thanks for sharing this info. I'm back in March and I love a good pizza. We spend 3 weeks in Barga, Tuscany every summer and I eat pizza at some point most days.

What you're getting: The Prosciutto di Parma Pie
Just to be different from most of the cool kids in New York, Motorino started in Brooklyn, then moved to Manhattan. It’s still there, in the East Village, but it also just returned to its Williamsburg roots with a second location. There’s also one in Hong Kong, naturally. No New Yorker would dare call their thin, charred-yet-chewy pies “traditional”, but only the biggest sticks in the sauce wouldn’t call them delicious. Get the prosciutto and you'll see why.

De Pizzabakkers are pretty good. There's one on Overtoom, De Pijp, the East(near Het Ballonetje) and the Jordaan.

Are still any boozers doing happy hour?

I seem to remember at least two on worm street having a happy hour.

I can also recall stumbling across a Scottish bar that had happy hour as well.
Only ever found the place once by accident, down a little side street somewhere.
Never been able to find it again.
