XBOX 360 Live

Post by Nugs »

I just bought myself an XBOX 360. It comes in the mail tomorrow and if not then atleast Friday. Im going to rent Gears of War. I bought Rainbow Six Vegas but its going to be a while before I get it in the mail.

Anyways I was wondering if anyone else plays on XBOX Live? If you have Gears of War or Rainbow Six or anything PM me your gamertag or just reply to it here. I will add you once my system gets set up and going... im gonna be tokin and playing all night :D

or if someone wants to argue the PS3 VS. Xbox 360 VS. Wii then go for it, cause thats OK too :)

The PS3 is a PS2 in a new box, the 360 is microsoft's attempt to save the dying console industry, the wii is fantastic and innovative, and not mention nintendo. Any avid gamer can tell you that real games are only for PCs and nintendos.

Just my opinion.

I'd take a 360 over a wii or PS3 any day of the week.

But would you take a 360 over a PC?

And I can understand why some people aren't interested in teh wii. For example if you have no friends(kidding). But the wii is just your classic nintendo system, souped up. Nintendo will always be good wholesome family fun, and nobody can deny that. It's just not something everyone enjoys.

As for the PS3, I couldn't agree more. Hardly worth mentioning.

Why are we talking about video games?

Everyday. PC is for work I spend at least 10 hours a day on one. Plus I used to be an avid PC Gamer but the constant upgrading ticked me off...

PC is primary for me. Atleast 3/4, if not more, of my gaming takes place on the PC. The 360 is my secondary.

I own a Wii, but I never play it. I originally bought it because the technology was new and creative, and it seemed like alot of fun when I played it. The first month I had it I played it alot. But now, I don't so much. For me, the replay is in the multiplayer aspect of games. Which, Nintendo has said there is no money to be made in... dumb move nintendo.

I got the 360, and am selling my Wii to a friend. In a years time the Wii will only have a handful of games worth buying. Super Mario Brawlers (I think its called), WarioWare, Zelda, Excite Truck, the new mario, Super Smash bros, and all of these are Nintendo Titles. Almost all 3rd party games suck for the Wii. Poor graphics and controls, which cause the gameplay to lack. Such is the case with Call of Duty 3 and Splinter Cell. And games like Rayman and super monkey ball just suck. The Wii becomes amusing at best.

The 360 is aimed more at the young adult, than the cartoonish world of Nintendo. PS3 just seems... I dunno.. in its own wierd world. It was a hard choice, but for games like Gears of War it was the right choice. Resistance fall of man just sucks for the PS3. It was so boring!

Rant over.

So if anyone wants to play some gears of war on xbox live... let me know ;x

Another one bites the dust. I'll mourn you. And the upgrading really isn't so bad. If you spend as much on upgrades as you would a console system, your upgrades will last as long as or longer than any console system will stay on the market. But if your problem with upgrading was the amount of time it took (sending the comp off to get upgraded), tell your siblings to get working on some genius nephew to upgrade it for you. =P

Well yeah, but it was the same story with the gamecube, wasn't it? That's why nintendo consoles are so much less expensive. =P they're pretty much single purpose.

But I'll be a nintendo fanboy forever.

Xbox 360 Vs PS3

Post by smoker_moby »

Hi guys

I do agree that the wii is a fun console but is aimmed at the younger market, the 360 is the best console on the market.Thats all i have to say

If any1 says the PS3 is better than the 360 just ask them how much they know about the ps3's online services!!!!

I dnt really care that much because its each to their own but it really does suck. If any1 want a game online on the 360 im me and im sure we can have a game i have gears of war lost planet etc

Oh this is cool to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R98qC0fd_1w

Cheers

As soon as Micro$hite said they were going to release a console I knew it would be the one for me ... they were not going to fcuk this one up. It killed off the PS2 which was already long in the tooth by then.

Then wait for it... MS get their nextgen console on the market way before the PS3. Direct X 10 is only just hitting the PC's now and most of the current games dont use it yet.

MS were always going to win. I know Sony are a big company and they have had a great portfolio of publishers and massive back catalogue of games but I really dont expect to hear much about PS3. It will sell but it will not dominate...Im pretty sure of that.

TBH since I got my latest pc I havent bothered with the xbox and havent bought a 360.
You missed it right?
