72 HOUR TRAVEL CARD

Post by theginjaninja »

Where is the nearest place to Amsterdam Central Station that sells the 72 hour travel cards?
The travel card that lets you use buses or trams?

We will be staying at camping Vliegenbos now and I know you can get the 32/33 bus at the back of Central Station. Just need a travel card as it will be the cheapest option.

Just out the front of Centraal is a white building (slightly to the left) that sells all travelcards. Take a numbered ticket out of the machine and when your number is displayed go to the counter and get your card. Remember, the 72 hours start from the moment you touch in on your first tram/bus/metro and always remember to touch out when leaving the tram/bus/metro.

No need to. It goes there by itself.

I pay by card, or more accurately my none stoned travelling companion/able assistant does. Cash payment may be possible, not sure, can check with the brains of the operation and get back to you.
