Another thing: a non-smoker with a tendency to anxiety will probably be uncomfortable in the centre, although at least it won't be high tourist season. If you are around there, I'd put in a word for Siberië. It's spacious, they've got a vape and cards to show THC/CBD content of the strains, and afterwards you can visit the cat boat, if you time it right. But de Pijp will probably be more suitable, on the whole.

Another option - De Graal's got a "medic" selection which I think has a higher CBD content! The prices are lower compared to other strains, not tried any, but the budtender did say they are popular!

That's really good advice too. Seek out high CBD strains. Great for combatting the para's :)
Sorry I'm not sure where you'd find the Jamaican it's not really my thing.

Barney,s is not as bad as most let on around here. For new smokers or once in a blue moon smokers it,s fine. There grams a grams, usely well dried and cured. Sure it,s not the strongest, but thats to be expected.Where do these guys think all that water hashes come from ….HINT {they trim the bud real close and then put in a box and shack it for good measure} Most tourist don,t smoke ever day like people on this site .I,m one who smokes up to two oz a week ,the pot to me in all the Dam sucks.Thats why I mix hash with every thing. Barney,s does not need tourist doing whites ever where, caution I have see a couple when being there before. The liberty haze is one of the few I do catch a buzz on,but I still will put a sausage of nepal pollen in middle just to make sure :) .Barney,s has Vape,s for none smokers like your husband. Go slow and have sugary drinks on hand just in case he gets paranoid .Walking and sugar is the best way to come down. Hope you have fun…..Roll on 420

Just my two cents  but you (original poster) seem to know and enjoy weed, just go to different coffee shops between tourist stuff and enjoy your smoke, the atmosphere and the relaxed attitude as well as the smokey air of the shop, well he wont have to smoke to enjoy himself. I have traveled in Amsterdam with non smokers and have found this plan to work, and some of the non smokers tried a puff or two. Enjoy your trip, give us a report :)

Katsu is good; Yo-Yo is another relaxed place, with outdoor strains for sale, I believe. Your husband will probably enjoy wandering about de Pijp and the market after a joint/pipe or two; if he doesn't, he's probably not the smoking type.
We're gonna vape, but yeah, he will take it slow, and I'll avoid "creepers". Totally agree about set and setting. I have a good feel to where he'll be more comfortable. In restaurants, always sitting in the corner. I'm the same way. That way I don't feel somebody is watching me behind my back. Katsu seems to have several corners like that.
Adamster wrote:At katsu from last menu bio haze 10€ 1.6g organic maybe the best first smoke from there !
And the super Jamaican 2g 10€ !!
If your into getting really high you must try the strawberry kush .8 10€ !!
Thank you! All this is at Katsu?
Yup all at Katsu at the moment from last menu posted on the menu site

Nice. I just noticed that. I only looked at the first page thinking the second page was hash. Nice. Very large and good selection.

That's true, but he's one of those people who has never tried it and has preconceived notions about it as a result of the media and government, which he trusts *far* too much. I'd like him to at give it a shot so before judging whether he likes it or not. It'd be nice him to chill out, relax, and look at nature for once -- maybe enjoy it. If he doesn't, i'm not gonna pressure him to try again or try to "convert" him into a pothead, as much as I might like that  . He also has this thing against weed because his brother is an irresponsible asshole who happens to smoke pot (he also drinks to excess, but somehow that gets overlooked). Maybe if he tries it, he'll overcome his prejudice.

Sort of what I was planning. Before starting the vape session i'm gonna order a juice for him and when we do partake, it's going to be a few minute rest between hits for him. I'll make sure the bag gets empty and no weed goes to waste, I promise. :P

If he gets paranoid, i'll be like "here, smoke this shit, it'll calm you down, i promise!". Seriously, though, it's not a bad idea to have some around to blend in with some other more heady strains. I've heard anecdotes that works well. I might even try smoking some on it's own just for shits. Supposedly Charlotte's Web goes below 1% THC. Some people report getting a buzz, but that might either be a placebo, or a batch with higher THC.

Try Blackstar, just round the corner from 1e hulp. They also have a Ghanaian sativa that's not too strong, and (in my experience) brings on the grins.

You don't own stock in chocomel, do you?
Don't worry, i'll have some sugary drink on hand. He likes orange juice. But I'm reading black pepper and some other things work as well. I'll have everything on hand just in case. I think he'll be fine, though. We'll take it slow. Once again, i'd like to thank everybody for your help!
