Day 1 part 1
My gf and I catch the 7am flight from Edinburgh after zero hours sleep the night beforehand. Had some big family do the night before, got back super late and just stayed up instead of sleeping for 2 hours and feeling like shit. Land in Dam after 1 hour and 5 in the air. Love these short flights to the mecca and cheap aswell! Thanks easy jet
We go buy train tickets and go down to catch our train, only to find there was work being done on the tracks and we had to get a bus. FFS this happened last april aswell when we visited. Okay, so we're told wait three stops then get off at sloterdijk. So we wait past the first three stops then got off only to find its not sloterdijk, its some bus station way out from amsterdam centre. Oops lol. So we get a bus to the centre that took about 45 mins and cost 10 euro for the two of us. Actual nightmare, and then when we get off the handle to my luggage gets stuck so i have to lift it to the hotel ; good old voyagers
Arrive at voyagers to sweet smell of ganj. Room will be ready in 45 they said and took our luggage to store which was a big relief. So now to the smoke. Asked to see the tinghi as i always like to start off in dam with some nice maroc. They were sold out at the time so opted for 1g lemon bubble and 1g sour diesel( was mispelt soul diesel on the menu lol). Both were pretty nice( ratings at the end of the post). New smoking arrangements at voyagers means its even less of a chill spot than before so we head to batavia for a quick smoke and a munch.
Head back to voyagers after that. Get our keys for room 2, first time staying in the hotel and fuck me those stairs are steep! Easier to climb than they look though. Nice spacious room, amazing value for money. Gf is feeling really tired so she decides take a nap. Not me i'm too caffeine'd up and psyched to score more goodies to sleep. I head out to haarlemmerstraat to grab some rifmans at dampkring 2 and get food supplies from albert heijn.
I arrive at dampkring 2 to be greeted by that intense pyscho security guard, show him my ID and then on to purchase my hash. God the budtenders here have gotten even worse. Had to wait ages for the guy to show me the jars. Asked what was best, guy said malika. I asked to see the malika and noor 2000. Malika looked old and hard, not much smell. Noor smelt fresh and potent with a sticky shine so asked for 1g then asked to see sunrise and the pioneer block. Guy took ages again and looked pretty pissed off i was asking to see so many things. I don't care, im wanting good dope for my money like. Anyway yeah took 1g of the pioneer and passed on the sunrise as it looked old aswell. Asked if i could look at the habiba now and he took fucking ages. Was speaking in the other budtender's ear in dutch for the longest time. By that time i'd noticed the habibi jar was down to the crumbs and when he eventually showed me it i turned it down. Then he produced a jar of this dahab which smelt pretty good. He turned on his salesman talk saying it was nice and spicy and strong. Credit to him there, it was a nice hash. He just took so long to serve me and i heard some cringey stuff from the the other budtenders bigging up there shaky looking buds. Next time i'll just go to tweede kamer and original dampkring for rifmans as i rate them highly and dampkring 2 sucks.
Pop in barneys next. Ask to see utopia haze and tangerine dream. Utopia down to shake but smelt nice. Guy pulls out the tangerine dream and it smells really good, like amnesia and tangerines. Lots of big crystally buds in the tub so i grab 1g. I think barneys menu and product has gone vastly downhill past few years(and gotten pricier too) but the tangerine has always been good from them. This was probably the best example ive had too. Onto albert heijn next. God i love this supermarket. So cheap and much better quality compared to the supermarkets in britian. Hit up the bakery section and get some of those dutch rocky roads that are more like chocolate brownies with marshmallows and then these sugar glazed apple pastry things with caramel sauce mixed in with the apple filling, mmmmmmmm sooo good
The salads here are epic too, got some of them along with some euro chocolates and crisps.Head back to the apartment, gf's sound asleep. I go downstairs for a hashboy then back upstairs to sleep for a few hours myself and then hit more coffeeshops at night.

Lemon bubble 12e : Love my lemony sativas so this was great for me. Not that strong but its a great morning or daytime smoke. I can't get enough of this smell. Taste was good too, not anything special but nice and smooth. Smell 9 taste 8 effect 7
Sour diesel 12e : dark and small scraggly buds but smelt really nice, sour piney bitter lemons. Full on taste as well, nice and fuely. smell 8 taste 8 effect 7
dampkring 2
pioneer block 8.50e : fruity smell and taste, strong sativa high, great value, never had a bad batch. smell 8 taste 8 effect 9
dahab 10e : smelt like very good afghan. nice and stoney. smell 8 taste 8 effect 8
noor2000 16e : really strong intense smell, really nice to smoke aswell and v strong. hits you behind the eyes, and you can feel it all over your body. very special hash. smell 9 taste 8 effect 10

tangerine dream 16e : great example. Smelt amazing, really smooth smoke aswell with a long sativa headhigh. smell 9 taste 8 effect 9
