today a old women was charged in a uk court for growing weed ,
she had a car crash some years ago and the med's that she'd had been given by her doctor didn't do very much for her pain and also made her want to take her own life,
she's been putting weed in her food and not smoking it , she never put enough to get stoned but enough to help her pain,
i think the law has gone mad they want lock up a granny for growing 4 plants

Also here in the UK, nurses have just been given a below inflation pay rise and soldiers above inflation. Sign of the times – taking lives has a higher priority than saving them.

actually the governments are not stupid they are GREEDY and HEARTLESS it is all about wealth and power for them and caring about people that they do not know just does not enter into their thinking unless whatever subject is on hand and it happens to be to their advantage then they will pretend to care long enough to get what they want


if you are the caring sort with a heart you may not ever be able to understand your government so pretend you are a greedy bastard willing to do anything to anyone to get ahead or let anything happen to anyone to get ahead.............think like a rich wealthy industrialist and when you look at things the way they do suddenly all this crap that our governments do that makes no sense to most of us will make all kinds of sense when you look at it the way they do and finally understand what it is that they truly value that they do not care about life people or the environment that we exist in....we are no more than worker ants to them and if some suffer and die then as far as they are concerned there are plenty of replacements along the way so why should they care what happens or spend resources to help if it does in not in some way benefit them

all they truly care about has nothing to do with the freedom and rights of an individual's life and it has everything to do with the freedom and rights of COMMERCE and TAXES the life blood of governments

most governments unfortunately just view us as an easily replaceable asset with over 6 billion to chose from instead of people and individuals with the right to live exist and occasionally even be happy

to bad we can't get some Granny's in Congress and Parliament

we sure could use some people with some understanding and heart in those jobs

yeah, i watched this story with a keen interest, i read another report from the beeb that metioned she ran in an election for the legalisation lobby. Think the trouble is that she'd openly and vocally advertises what she does and it would have been almost impossible for the police not to act. It would also seem to be the case that she was dealing (according to a local guy who i work with) and as such the police would be setting an precident for similar cases if they did not act. I'm not saying i agree with it but the laws the law as they say.
