I know what you mean about cliques. I have made myself unpopular with a few people in the past because I've tried to treat everybody equally. Some would like to make this into an exclusive club but I believe that the long term health of the forum is better served by keeping it open.

It has its uses - as a realtime tool it's quite helpful.
I only ever dip in and out when I have trips plan, same as I do on here really. Can't remember the last time I popped up on here to post anything but times change and people move on like has been said. I find it interesting the "cliques" on the Facebook page feel quite similar to the "cliques" we had on this forum once upon a time.
I remember a time when no one believed the good things HB was doing down at voyagers after doing the same thing at Bagheera, I was one of a handful of people who took time out to verify the Bagheera "stories" and confirmed with wasn't what was being said in the "clique" on here about using "name brand" weeds like Trainwreck, shoreline, Kong, Alegria, etc to bring in tourists and was actually a concerted effort by a guy to make things better in the shop he was running, HB did the same at voyagers and it was only a matter of time before the "clique" was fawning over Voyagers the same way they do now with 1e Hulp
It's all those dickhead mods (there's one cool guy name Arron), and this Tracy Red girl, who's like some kind of milfy attention whore who always posts pic of herself smoking and then gets like 500 likes from all these hardleggers chomping at the bits, geez. I honestly shouldn't vent, but I think my sometimes critical (re: not excessively complimentary) attitude towards 1e may have been a contributing factor to dud mod-squad having dealt me the almighty ban-hammer!

They say nobody on their deathbed ever regretted not spending more time in the office. I suspect the same goes for arguing with internet dickheads. And yes, I've been tempted in the past, but you always lose, even if you win whatever you think you're winning, because you don't get that time back.
I dont have FB, so I, for one, am glad this site accepts new posters. This site offers so much more than weed.
I wager if we started a thread about why we read/post on this site, we would all have different reasons. I can tell some of you genuinely like helping others. Some, like me, enjoy sharing and reading about AMS from a smoking point of view. Some here like discussing strains. This board contains a good mix of posters.

I left that Facebook page when they were all raving about the apple Kush and strawberry Kush that High Times sold in 2014. You know that Apple and Strawberry Kush that's been sprayed/juice drops in tub to make it smell like actual apples and strawberries
Majority of the people on there don't know anything really and just get involved in the hype.

I never liked 1e Hulp that much. The deco and design of the place is very good and they have a cat. But the weed, which is of course most important, never was good when I bought there. There are many better shops to buy from in the west imo. Even Kashmirs (quote) "mediocre" weed was more bang for the buck, especially their Cheese was quite good for a tenner. Maybe its all about hulps wax/shatter or whatever they specialized in. I don't like smoking concentrates, it just skyrockets my THC tolerance. Oh yeah and fuck the acd facebook page, if people can't voice their opinion, there's no use for it.
