Rosin Tech

Post by BackInDam »

I'm going to dam tomorrow and am planning to buy a hair straightener and some cheap flowers at around 6-7 euros per gram to make rosin.

I am wondering if anyone from the community has tried it before and I'm also looking for advice on where to buy lots of cheap frosty flowers.

Cheers

Just googled that technique, wow very cool. I need to try that. No idea where to get lots of frosty cheap buds in Amsterdam though. Everything is expensive there.

advice on where to buy lots of cheap frosty flowers.
"Intensive Care" (afaik BubbleGumxWhiteWidow) from 1eHulp for 7€/g.
Great quality, but rather sleepy Indica-stone.

"Picasso" (Hybrid/Sativa-ish, @~5€/g) and "Poison" (Indica, @~8€/g) from CS-Picasso (Haarlemmerstraat).

Green Place sells "oldschool" strains (White Widow, Northern Lights, Jack Herer and AK-47) pre-bagged in 2grams @15€. No idea about quality though.

Intensive care is really very good value. I don't think you will find any better for that price. I don't think buying shake/gruis would work too well with that technique.

I'll second that. For 7e/g you'll struggle to find anything better, maybe some good outdoors but that a maximum i think. And Intensive Care was always really bang for buck.

Kijkshop.nl do a hair iron for 12,99 (Stijltang).

Curious how you get on. Does the transformation to rosin provide extra bang for buck?

I don't have a dab rig myself, or a bong. Are there any alternatives?

Intensive Care from 1e hulp is amazing indeed, However it is the wrong kind of weed for rosin. For rosin you are better off getting dense kush or haze strains. Its all about perfecting your technique. 1g Amnesia haze from boerejongens yielded more rosin than 5g intensive care from 1e hulp.

I tried it with:

Moroccan hash
Dry sieft
Shake
intensive care
hazes
kushes

Only bother with good quality buds or drysieft. If you have cheap hash you dont like, you can use rosin to purify it, but you wont get as effective yields as from tightly compressed quality buds.
