AlbertaAdam'sTrip Report March 2015

Here's one Canadian that was lucky enough to make it to Amsterdam this year!

Before every trip I make to Amsterdam I always lurk this msg forum to help pass the time before my next departure. I always say to myself that I'm going to right a trip report so I can try give back to this forum all the great information I have received. I'm about to embark on my 4th trip and I told myself I cannot go until I write a trip report on this forum so here it is!

So my girlfriend and I both had some time off at the start of March and we couldn't decide where to go. We had just got back from Mexico in January and didn't really want to do the all inclusive trip again we wanted to travel and adventure. We said to ourselves we would keep an eye on cheap flights and if we saw a destination we liked that's were we would go.

After searching for almost 3 weeks finally something fell into our laps. A cheap flight to Europe!. On our previous trip to Amsterdam we learned that if you fly KLM airlines out of Canada they offer you a free layover in Amsterdam(up to 7 days). We opt'd to fly to Prague, CZ and take advantage of the free 7 days in Amsterdam, it was like getting a 2 for 1 deal on a flight to Europe! This time around the cheap flight was to Copenhagen, DK, however this time there was a catch. The cheap flight was out of Edmonton, AB(2.5hr drive North of Calgary where we live). To make things worse our flight had layovers in Calgary for both directions of our flight. So we had to drive to Edmonton from Calgary, only to fly back to Calgary and catch our direct flight to Amsterdam. Let me tell you it was a VERY LONG day of travel.

On our way to airport we drove straight into a famous Canadian Winter storm, I almost didn't think we were going to make it to Edmonton but we left plenty early to give ourselves extra time as we knew about the storm prior. Once we arrived at the Edmonton airport, we did the park and fly, took the shuttle to the airport terminal with no problems, got our usual booster juice before the flight and we were on our way! The storm passed and the flight back to Calgary was uneventful up and then back down. We had a few hours to kill at the Calgary airport until our 9hr flight to Amsterdam so we got some lunch at Chili's, it is a pretty good spot to eat or have a drink at the Calgary Airport(YYC), then it was off to Amsterdam. As always the flight on KLM was great the staff was super nice and helpful, the food was decent for airline and can't beat the free Heineken's. Neither one of us has ever really been able to sleep on flights and this trip was no exception.

DAY 1 - LANDING AT SCHIPOL

We land at Schipol at 8:30am at this point I've been awake for over well over 20hrs and jet lagged like crazy, we are totally ready for bed but no time for that! First stop once we land is Lebara stand to get my sim card so I can have data on my cell phone for this trip. What a difference this was, it made getting around the city and using public transit SO MUCH EASIER! I will never return without my trusty Lebara sim card. After getting the sim card it was off to find the hotel shuttle bus. In the past I had booked with airbnb and Amsterdam Cribs however this time it was much cheaper to get a hotel outside of the Center. We used hotwire.com and ended up at the Wyndham Apollo in the RAI district for under $100 a night CANADIAN!

After finding our way to the shuttle pickup spot it was only a short wait for the bus and he took us right to the front door of our hotel no other stops. Upon arriving we checked in right away, the gentlemen behind the counter was great to us. He could tell we had had a long day of travel already and it wasn't even noon yet. I think he felt sorry for us, he let us check in to our room early and he put us on the top floor in a corner room with a balcony! This turned out to be great in the mornings before we left for the day and to unwind at the end of the day. It also had a great view.

DAY 1 - AMSTERDAM

Purchases
Champagne Haze - Club Media($12.5/1.0g)
Hindu Kush - Club Media($5.5/0.5g)
Cookies Kush - Barney's Lounge($16.0/1.0g)
G-13 Haze - Barney's Lounge($15.0/1.0g)
Caramella Cream Hash - Barney's Lounge($9.0/0.5g)
Hawaii Haze - Kadinsky($16.0/1.14g)
Tester Tuesday - Voyagers($10.0/1.0g)
Tangie - Voyagers($12.0/1.0g)

After getting our sweet upgrade at check in we made our way to the room, we wanted to go to sleep so bad but knew if we did we would be up in the middle of the night with not much to do(this happened on our first trip together). So it was right to the shower to freshen up and right back out the the door, had to keep moving or else sleep would creep in! Our first stop was Club Media as by location it was pretty close to our hotel and we had been there before. I fired up the google maps and we were on our way. We walked through the Albert Cuyp Market and of course they had the guy selling poffertjes(little pancakes). Of course we stopped as its the perfect spot for 'Breakfast'

Image

Finally we have made it to Club Media our first coffeeshop stop. Even though we are extremely tired it feels great to be back in a coffeshop. We purchase 1.0g of Champagne Haze($12.5) and 0.5g of Hindu Kush($5.5). It was still before noon I think and we pretty much had the coffeeshop to ourselves so we sat near the Volcano and vaporized some of the Champagne Haze. Girlfriend got a mint tea and a toasti and I had a toasti with ham.

After a few bags and our snacks we headed out on foot towards Barney's Lounge. I always like to hit up Barney's when I'm in town I just have to see what all the hype is about with the previous year's cannabis cup winner. I also really like to chill at Barney's Lounge its great they have a volcano at every table and this location is a little out of the way. Once we got there we purchased 1.0g of Cookies Kush($16.0) 1.0g of G-13 Haze($15) and 0.5g of Caramella Cream Hash($9). We took advantage of the empty tables here, rested our feet and had some more bags. However we couldn't sit for long as the sleep would creep up on us so we continued on our way at this point we figured we would keep going on foot all the way to central station to purchase our transit pass for our time in Amsterdam.

So before we left I busted out my phone with data and brought up the google maps I had made prior to our stay and saw that Bushdoctor was close so we headed there. After arriving at Bushdoctor we noticed you had to purchase a min. of 2.0g's, saw there was OG Kush on the menu which is a personal favourite of mine so we took at look but were not very impressed at all, we didn't make any purchase. So we headed back on our travels to try and stay awake and get to central station.

Next stop on the map was Kadinsky's one of our more memorable coffeeshops from our last visit. We were greeted at Kadinsky's by a great budtender, she recommend some great Hawaii Haze. We purchased 1.14g(single bud) for $16.0. After the purchase we headed upstairs to roll one up while the girlfriend made the steep skinny climb to the bathroom. We stayed to smoke the Hawaii Haze I just rolled up and man was it tasty, we both really enjoyed the flavor and the buzz. The sleep was coming on strong and we were STARVING so it was time to move on. We headed down the Warmoesstraat for something to eat and ended up at Wok to Walk, something quick and easy.

After that it was on to Voyagers for some of the famous "Tester Tuesday" I've read about on here. We picked up 1.0g Tester Tuesday($10.0) and 1.0g of Tangie($12.0) Voyagers was packed no where to sit down and we were exhausted so we headed for central station and our transit pass for the rest of the week. Got the pass headed straight for the tram and back to the hotel where we proceeded to sleep for 20hrs straight! It was great it, was just what we both needed. We work up feeling refreshed and ready to take on the rest of our trip.

Our haul after Day 1

DAY 2 - AMSTERDAM

Purchases
Tesla - The Dolphins($15/1.0g)
Trainwreck - Tweede Kamer($9.0/1.0g)
Silver Bubble - Grey Area($13/1.0g)
Go-Ji OG Kush - Grey Area($8.0/0.5g)
La Kandi Kush - Grey Area($7.5/0.5g)
Pineapple Express - 1eHulp($12/1.0g)
Strawberry Sour Desiel - 1eHulp($12/1.0g)
Cheese Candy - 1eHulp($6.0/0.5g)
Pure Kush - Greenhouse Centurm($18/1.0g)

After sleeping in until noon we hit up the balcony for a joint and then off to the tram stop to hitch a ride to Leidseplein for some Burger King to start the day. We printed some coupons from the Burger King website and got 2 BK XXL, 1 fry, 1 drink and 2 dips for $9.15 not bad if your on a budget. From Burger King The Dolphins is a quick walk so we headed there.

Image
Image

At Dolphins the bud tender gave us the run down of their menu and coffeeshop. He was very nice, informative and to the point. We ended up purchasing 1.0g of Tesla($15.0) as our luck would continue the table at the window was open so we decided to sit down my girlfriend also grabbed a delicious cappuccino. The Tesla was pre packaged which I really dis like however it did not disappoint. I rolled up a nice joint, since we smoke pure we were able to stay upstairs and enjoy our smoke and cappuccino by the window. After we finished up we were off on our journey to stock up on some more goods, our next stop was Grey Area.

We decided to walk and along the way we came across Tweede Kamer and I had read on the forums here about cheap Trainwreck so we popped in for 1.0g of Trainwreck($9.0) also we really didn't like the vibe here, we felt like we were treated like 'tourists' not very friendly at all really local feel where outsiders aren't welcome. As we continued to Grey Area we ended up in Damn Square and no trip to damn square is complete without your picture in the boot!

Image

Picture in the boot, check! got that out of the way early in the trip and we are back on track to Grey Area. As always there is a lineup to the door but it's cool to look at all the stuff on the walls while we wait. After looking over a few of the different strains we end up getting 1.0g of Silver Bubble($13.0), 0.5g of Go-Ji OG Kush($8.0), 0.5g La Kandi Kush($7.5) and a Grey Area sticker for me($1.5). When we got around to smoking our product from Grey Area we were really not impressed at all. In the past Grey Area had been good to us so we knew to expect. Great product but at an expensive price. However, this time it was a less than impressive product at an expensive price. I will still go back to Grey Area however I will be taking more time there to make sure I'm happy with what I'm getting for the price and I wont let the huge line and bud tender rush me into making a decision.

Anyway since there are no seats at Grey Area we head over to Amnesia to see if we can score a table to sit down and sure enough it's completely full too, so it's off to the nearest Tram station to head over to 1eHulp. We found 1eHulp on our last trip to Amsterdam once again thanks to this forum and after visiting on this trip it is probably our favorite coffeeshop in all of Amsterdam. The staff has always been friendly and informative everything we've ever bought has been top shelf and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you are getting. The only problem I have with 1eHulp is that there is always some much to choose from it's hard to decide what to get. We end up grabbing 1.0g of Pineapple Express($12.0), 1.0g of Strawberry Sour Diesel($12.0), and 0.5g of Cheese Candy. Pineapple Express and Strawberry Sour Diesel were 2 of our favorite strains from last trip and this trip was no exception. Both were great examples of the strain(that we remembered from before) and both did not disappoint for $12.0 Euro you can't go wrong. This will be my first stop when I return to Amsterdam and they will get the majority of my tourist dollars as you can't go wrong at 1eHulp.

By this time it's getting close to dinner and we are both getting hungry so we head back to the tram stop to hitch a ride to our hotel. At the tram stop for our hotel there is an Albert Heijn so we pop in to grabbed some Bananas, Doughnuts, Cheese(Gouda and Grand Padano), 2 smoothies, 2 croissants, 2 dinner rolls. As with every trip to Albert Heijn as a tourist from another continent you always see funny things for sale you don't normally see at home, this is a prime example!

Image

After making up some sandwiches we were back out on the town. This time we were off to the Greenhouse Centrum. I know this is an overpriced trendy tourist coffeeshop but it holds a special place for us. Our last trip we stayed only a few hundred meters from this coffeeshop and spent a lot of time here especially at night to end the day as we had a non-smoking rented room from airbnb. We both love the crazy tables they have a Greenhouse Centurm and always love the vibe, just don't love the prices on the menu. We grabbed 1.0g of Pure Kush($18.0) and my girlfriend had a Mint Tea.

Image
(Love these tables and without that little green book and my girlfriends note taking this trip report would not be possible!)

After we had a smoke inside the Greenhouse Centurm I rolled an extra joint(Hawaii Haze) to smoke at our special spot by the canal just outside Greenhouse Centurm. So it was back to back joints and why not we are on vacation in Amsterdam we didn't come here to not smoke! Of course after doing so the munchies came on strong and it was the sweet tooth kind of munchies so it was off to Metropolitan for some CHOCOLATE! We both got a hot chocolate(best in the city) and a brownie. Grabbed a table and enjoyed them ever so much, almost was stoned enough to try and snort a line of coco but couldn't bring myself to do it.

Image

By this time it was getting late so we headed to the closest tram stop and made our way back to the hotel, once we got back I rolled up a beauty joint with the Trainwreck and the Caramella Cream Hash. It was so good it brought on the munchies again this time we ordered a medium pizza and garlic bread delivered to the room from 24/7 Pizza Amsterdam. It was a bit pricey at $15.5 but it was worth every penny. We followed that up with a joint of Hindu Kush and off to bed.

DAY 3 - AMSTERDAM

Purchases
Space Pound Cake - Paradox($6.5/1.0g)
Cheese - Paradox($12/1.0g)
Strawberry Sour Diesel - 1eHulp($12.0/1.0g)
Dr. Grinspoon - El Guapo($16.0/1.0g)
Amnesia Cream Hash - Utopia($13.0/1.0g)

After sleeping in the day before we got up kind of early to see some sites and hit up some museums. We started our day with a Tesla joint on the balcony then it was straight to the Albert Cuyp Market for some poffertjes(little pancakes) for breakfast. Following breakfast we hit up the closes tram stop and headed for the Tulip Museum($5.0/pp). Tulip museum was pretty informative, we both enjoyed it and thought it was worth the $5.0. Probable wouldn't go back but would recommend going at least once.

Before our next museum it was time for a quick smoke, I had a pre rolled LA Kandy Kush joint that did the trick nicely. Next stop was the really close by Cheese Museum(Free Entry). How do you not go in the Cheese Museum? it's free and they have all kinds of delicious cheese to sample. We went downstairs to check out the exhibit and one of the staff told us that just days prior their famous cheese slicer had been stolen by some tourist(here is a link to the story http://www.nltimes.n...msterdam-museum). He even showed us the surveillance video on his phone. Pretty crazy story for a Cheese Museum.

Image
Image

After The Cheese Museum it was straight to De Poezenboot(http://depoezenboot.nl/en), my girlfriend really wanted to come here as she is a lover of cats, especially ones in need and the cool thing is it's on a house boat. The people volunteering at De Poozenboot where great, they give up there free time to help rescue and care for these stay cats. It's all non-funded, non-profit all the money raised goes to food, litter, medical bills, etc. We made sure to donate and even purchased a few souvenirs from the front desk.

Image

With 3 museums down and 1 left to go for the day, it was time for a coffeeshop and something to eat. We stopped at Bagels and Beans quickly for an Everything Bagel and a cappuccino and it was straight to Paradox. Once we got to Paradox we grabbed a 1 piece of the famous Space Cake I've read about on here so much and 1.0g of Cheese($12.0). We grabbed a seat at the table to rest our feet and get really high for the next museum. My girlfriend had half of the Space Cake, she is confident eating Space Cakes in Amsterdam, she makes edibles at home and we find they tend to be MUCH stronger. I can't remember what we smoked there but I remember leaving really stoned.

Image
Image

From Paradox it was only a short distance to our next stop. The Electric Lady Land($5.0/pp, http://electric-lady-land.com). This might be one of my favourite places in Amsterdam, we found this place on our last trip and fell in love with it. The man who owns and runs the museum is so interesting and passionate about what he does. Both visits we ended up staying and chatting with him after the presentation downstairs. It is well worth the $5.0 to come and see this museum and the presentation he puts on, I would recommend this to anyone visiting Amsterdam. I will be returning for my 3rd visit on my next trip.

Image
34g7hi0.jpg

After spending at least an hour in The Electric Lady Land and it was starting to get close to dinner time so we took the tram back the hotel to freshen up and smoke a nice Tangie joint on the balcony. We ended up taking a bunch of trams around the city until finally decieding on going to Burgermeester. Burgermeester was great it was just as good as having a burger back home in Alberta, Canada. We both got Cheeseburgers and split coleslaw and potato salad. Following dinner it was time to hit up some coffeeshops, conveniently the Burgermeester wasn't very via tram to 1eHulp, so we were on our way.

At 1eHulp we purchased 1.0g of Strawberry Sour Diesel($12.0) and went up stairs to chill with the cat and smoke it. I do much prefer to smoke on the main floor where there is no tobacco allowed as we smoke pure and don't smoke tobacco, but it is really nice upstairs, very chill.

Since we can never sit any where for too long we are off again, this time to the Centurm for some more coffeeshops. We try to go into 420 cafe but it's pack with not a seat in the house, we see that Prix D'ami is close so we go there next we get inside but really don't like the vibe, the 'bouncer' is giving us a hard time, we didn't even make it to the menu before we left. Wasn't a nice experience there so we continued on our way and found El Guapo. We also didn't want to sit down here as we both felt a little out of place but we did however look at the menu and ended up purchasing 1.0g of Dr. Grinspoon($16.0). I had read about this strain on here and new what to look for when purchasing it, not your typical looking weed. We were both glad we bought it though as it ended up being one of the top strains of the trip.

We still needed to find a place to sit down and chill and the handy map tells us that Utopia is near by. As soon as we walked in to Utopia I knew I was going enjoy my stay, they had old school drum and bass/jungle playing, it was great. We purchased 1.0g of Amnesia Cream Hash($13.0), a chocomel and a water. I had read about the Hash on here and it did not disappoint. We ended up staying here for 2 joints, one of Silver Bubble and one of the Cheese. While at Utopia this was this younger guy there who obiosuly had to many truffles, he was in a different world, the bud tender had to get in a garbage bag cause she was worried he would be sick all over the coffeeshop, she made sure he was drinking the sugar water too.

After the 2 joints it was time for desert, so it was off to Warmoesstraat again but this time to Crepes and Waffles. Since we are in Amsterdam we both decied to get "Old Dutch" Crepes, and man were they really good. By this time it was getting late and we wanted to be up early for the Rijks Museum the next day so we took the tram book to the hotel and smoked a Cookies Kush joint on the balcony before bed. The Cookies Kush did live up to the hype I just found it to me a little over priced but that is to be expected with Barney's.

DAY 4 - AMSTERDAM

Purchases
Blue Fin - The Rookies($13.75/1.1g)

Image
Stash update

So we got up early as planned and started our day off with a Champange Haze joint and then right to the Rijks to beat the lines. It was a good thing we did, when we ended up leaving the place was packed, people lined up all over the place and we had just spent a good 6hrs inside. Rijks is a really great museum this was a second visit for us we have to come every visit just because there is so much to see and always a new exhibit. We also got the audio tour this time which was great, we learned a ton of stuff we wouldn't have if we didn't have the audio tour. Below are a couple of my favorite pictures from the many we took at the museum.

Image
Image

After spending all morning and the early after noon in the museum we both realize we haven't eaten yet so we decided to get a cheap meal and head back to Burger King. Again with our coupons we got 2 Tendercrisps Chicken Sandwich, 1 Fry, 1 Drink, 2 Mayo and Oreo Ice Cream Dessert all for $10.6.

From here The Rookies is pretty close so we head there and purchase 1.1g of Blue Fin as per the budtender recommendations. It was one nice bud that was just as the bud tender had described it was a great smoke we both really enjoyed it. We grabbed a table inside The Rookies and smoked a pre rolled joint of Pure Kush I had. It was also really good! it motivated us to do some exploring, we headed for 199 Spui Straat to check out all the graffiti. It was worth the trip for sure and it was another free thing to do in Amsterdam. The artist that do this work are simply amazing I can't imagine how much time and effort must go into their artwork.

Image
Image

By this point it was getting close to dinner but we thought it would be a better idea to find a bar where you could drink and smoke instead. We remembered seeing one across the street from Utopia the night before called Cafe Big Shots. So it's off to Cafe Big Shots we go, we end up ordering 8 Pints of Leffe and smoking a Pineapple Express joint as well as a G13 Haze joint. With all the walking and no food this is enough for my girlfriend to green out. She ends up getting served the sugar water by the waiter in the bar and I had to finish her last Pint, she was great about it though. Had we gone for dinner before hand I'm sure she would have been fine. While we were there we did have a great time though! After she got sick it was time to go back to the hotel and call it a night we both ended up having great sleeps feeling refreshed the next day despite all the Pints and getting sick.

DAY 5 - AMSTERDAM

Purchases
Grape Ape - Boeregongens($8.5/1.0g)
Sour Tangie - Boeregongens($4.5/0.5g)

First thing in the morning after a night of drinking is an appointment with Dr. Grinspoon and boy was it great! We both got super stoned, a great wake and bake joint. Now that we are feeling great its time to head to the Albert Heijn for some fresh orange juice and sausage rolls. The fresh orange juice machine they have is just amazing. I recommend this to anyone looking for some real juice, its so refreshing. I wish they had these machines in Alberta.

Image

Now that we are fed and refreshed its time to check out the Waterlooplein market, we hadn't been here on our last trip and wanted to check it out. We ended up picking up a few souvenirs. Also right by the market is the spot were we spend 420 in Amsterdam last year on our trip so we had to go there. We grabbed a seat on the same bench we had on 4:20 April 20th, 2014. It was pretty cool to be able to do that again. I will never forget that spot, we smoked a Pure Kush joint I had pre rolled.

Image

We then headed for the BlueBird Cafe for a place to sit down. On our way to BlueBird Cafe we come across a street performer, only thing he's not on the street he's in the canal on a little boat, so I guess it would be a canal performer. He boated around playing a songs off of this little instrument that read the music off these punch cards, it was very entertaining and at the end he had a big pole to collect money from the large crowd of people that was watching.

Image

After arriving at BlueBird Cafe we went upstairs to purchase something but it was PACKED lineup down the stairs, so I rolled a quick Cheese Candy joint and we were back on the road this time for something to eat.

It was time for some famous Dutch Frites so we off too Vlaamse Friteshuis. We both ended up getting 2 Large Frites with Mayo and we both enjoyed it very much. After eating it was time to head to the 420 Cafe as its one of our favorite coffeeshops to sit down and chill and we hadn't been yet. I don't want to purchase anything after noticing the menu is the exact same as the first time I visited in 2009 so we just grab a couple of Chocolmel's and a table. Also another good thing about 420 Cafe is they have the Chocomel in a bottle, it's so much better than in the cans. We smoke a Blue Fin joint I had pre rolled before leaving. We wanted to purchase some more weed but our money situation was running low and I remember reading about Boergegongens coffeeshop and here and that it had cheap weed.

So we hopped on the tram and it was off we went outside the Centurm to find this coffeeshop. We managed to find it with no problems and we get to this shop which seems in the middle of no where and a bit out of place and there is a pretty big line. We wait our turn and when we get to the counter and ask the bud tender what is good and he recommends Grape Ape. We grab 1.0g of Grape Ape($8.5) and 0.5g of Sour Tangie($4.5). Boy was he spot on with his recommendation, the Grape Ape was a great strain our favorite of the trip and only $8.5! I really hope to get a deal like this again when I come back for my next trip, It was well worth the trip outside the Centurm. Our plan was to stay there and smoke but after seeing the sitting area we decided to move on, my girlfriend really liked The Dolphins so we headed there for a couple of amazing hot chocolates with whip cream.

Image

Once we finished up at The Dolphins we wanted to grab a quick bite to eat and go to the Red Light District. We got off the tram at Dam Square and ended up buying a couple of hot dogs from a street vendor. We were both disappointed, definitely wont do that again. So we walked around the Red Light District and take in all the sites and go down some of the small narrow streets, it really is a different experience then life in Canada. It's starting to get late and our feet are getting tired so it's time to find a coffeeshop, we walk around the Red Light District trying to find a table somewhere but every is full or required us to purchase weed to sit down so we hop on the Tram and head to our favorite coffeeshop 1eHulp. I don't remember what we smoked here but we purchased 2 Strawbanana Shakes, a Toastie and a Coca-Cola. I think by the time we left it was after midnight and time to head back to the hotel, we capped the night with a joint of Silver Bubble.

DAY 6 - AMSTERDAM

Purchases
Rolex OG Kush - Green Place($16/1.0g)
S O G Kush - 1eHulp($6.5/0.5g)

Started our day off again with another joint of Dr. Grinspoon and fresh orange juice from Albert Heijn. From there we headed towards De Laatste Kruimel(http://www.tripadvis...d_Province.html) for some breakfast but on our way there we stopped at the canal tour company Rederijp Kooij(http://www.rederijkooij.nl/en) to see when the next tour left and it was in like 5 minutes so we decided to skip breakfast and take the tour first. Canal tour was the usual nothing to fancy but it was nice to be out on the water and see the sites of Amsterdam we always enjoy the canal's.

Image
Image

After the tour its straight to De Laatste Kruimel which conveniently is just steps from the canal tour. We discovered this place on our first trip to Amsterdam we booked a room on airbnb which had breakfast vouchers included for De Laatste Kruimel. We went everyday not only for the included breakfast but for how good this place is. I would recommend this place to someone visiting Amsterdam and Kadinsky is right across the street!.

By this time it was getting close to lunch so I got a meatloaf with cheese sandwich on spelt bread and my girlfriend had a tuna melt on white. After smoking so many joints it was time to mix it up so we went to Barney's Farm to grab a table with a volcano. We purchased 2 Strawberry Looza($3.5/each) grabbed a table and hit some of the Strawberry Sour Diesel, mmm so tasty in the volcano.

It was a beautifuly Day in Amsterdam for early March so we headed for Vondel Park to go for a walk and enjoy the beautiful weather. The park was packed, there was people everywhere enjoying the warm weather in early March, we walked from one end of the park to the other. After the few hours we spent in the park it was time for another coffeeshop we hadn't been to Green Place yet and that's where I wanted to go, we purchsed 1.0g of Rolex OG Kush grabbed a tabled and smoked a Tester Tuesday joint mixed with some Amnesia Cream Hash. That had us flying high and hungry we were wandering around trying to find somewhere to get a real meal and stumbled on this little place that sold english meat pies called Pieminster(http://www.pieminister.co.uk). I got a venison pie and my girlfriend had the beef pie and we both got mash with gravy. It was AMAZING if it wasn't so filling I could have eaten 2. I would like to return here for sure!

Since it was our last night in Amsterdam we wanted to return to our favourite coffeeshop one last time. We were off to 1eHulp!, this time we purchased 0.5g of SO G Kush($6.5) and we sat in the basement since we had sat on every other floor. We found the basement to be very uncomfortable and definitely wouldn't sit back down there. After smoking it was time for some dessert before we went back to the hotel for the night so we headed to Ben & Jerry's for some Belgian Waffle Sundaes with chocolate, caramel and peanut butter chunks. By this time it was getting late and we had travel tomorrow so we headed back to the hotel to smoke up pretty much everything we had left minus the Rollex OG Kush we were saving for the morning.

DAY 7 - AMSTERDAM TO COPENHAGEN

Purchases
None

We had an early afternoon flight so we slept in just a little bit and smoked out last joint of the trip the Rollex OG Kush. It was good but not worth the $16.0 we paid. Went to the grocery store grabbed some fresh orange juice then ran across the street to AKO to grab some stamps to mail our post cards at the airport and we were off to Copenhagen to spend 4 days seeing the sites and sampling the products that Pusher Street had to offer.

This trip for us was kind of a mini-cannabis cup for us. We aren't really able to travel to Amsterdam in November due to work restrictions so we decided to do our own little cup. We kept track of everything we bought, and gave every strain a score and compiled all of the scores to come up with our winners. (google spreadsheet can be found here https://docs.google....oeBwvP0/pubhtml).

We ended up spending $314.25 for 24.74g for an average price per gram of $13.24. We rated all the weed on Look, Smell, Taste, Cure, and Value, everything was solely based on our opinions at the time, we didn't talk to each other about our scores, she would write hers in secret in her book and then I would give her my scores, it was pretty cool.

My Top 5
Grape Ape - Boeregongens
Dr. Grinspoon - El Guapo
Strawberry Sour Diesel - 1eHulp
Pineapple Express - 1eHulp
Pure Kush - Greenhouse Centrun

My Girlfriend Top 5
Grape Ape - Boeregongens
Pineapple Express - 1eHulp
Dr. Grinspoon - El Guapo
Blue Fin - The Rookies
Strawberry Sour Diesel - 1eHulp

I hope you enjoyed my trip report and hopefully I was able to give back to this great msg forum. Please ignore all spelling and grammar errors! Thanks.

Adam.
