What about decarbing it first in the oven?

Do you do the same when you try to make cannabutter using hash? I mean the decarb in the oven part.

I just thought about it, and figured out that i've made my hash chocolate milk when i was younger and all i needed to do was infuse it with some butter/oil and it worked perfectly, so i'm gonna try the same method but simmer it at a low heat with butter and make it like normal cannabutter. My friend who made shitload of brownies told me it's the best and quickest way, i just need to dissolve hash into butter really slowly.

I've got some dark afghan oily one, most of the hash gets decarbed during the process of making it, so mixing it long enough with butter should be enough.

When I've made cannabutter I haven't bothered with the cheesecloth. Simply put the cooked mixture of grass, water and butter in the fridge. Once cooled I had a slab of infused butter floating on top of water and plant material. I then simply lifted off the slab of butter.
