The power and the glory
Does anyone know any coffeeshops with power points where one can recharge one's phone or whatever? The wonderful Utopia, of course, but sadly that won't be of much use to anyone most weekdays, and it's around mid-afternoon when it tends to get critical, if you're relying on a phone to do everything, which I probably shouldn't. Eerste Hulp used to, but I noticed there's another lamp occupying that socket now. Voyagers looks as though it should have something somewhere, but I didn't check. It's an awfully 21st-century problem, I know.

In coffeeshop Katsu, I saw someone charging his laptop... Shouldn't be a problem if you ask politely and make some purchases
I bought one of those new insane capacity USB power banks to take with me on such trips - was about 25€.
It is able to recharge my iPhone 5s about 3-4 times = should last for a day

Cheers, must have missed that. I wouldn't be hanging about in Katsu without making any purchases, given that I'd happily go through most of the menu, if time allowed. (Did someone recently recommend the Strawberry Kush, or something like that, from here? I read it somewhere, but either Search is being erratic or I've got something wrong.)
I've half-heartedly looked into Android charging thingies, but it really would feel like being a slave to the machine.

I too carry one of the battery backup packs favoured by Mowie - think I paid £20 duty free; it fully charges my iPhone 5 five or six times.
Other than that I always just ask politely if I can plug something in - I've never been told no. Off the top of my head - De Graal, Katsu, Old Amsterdam, Bluebird were all very receptive when asked. *edit* Club Media too

Re: The power and the glory
Paradox is usually a pretty safe bet.
Re: The power and the glory
Ample electrical outlets to lend a cheeky charge at Paradox, I mean hell that tiny CS has like 6 Volcano Vaporizers, so they have to have at least that many outlets I'd think.

Utopia, Voyagers, 420 cafe, Bluebird, Katsu, Club Media, De Graal, Funky Munkey, Barney's. In those places without asking i just used a socket with no problems. They'd probably let you charge your phone if you asked in any other place, that's my opinion:)
Edibles on a plane is my middle fucking name

Mr. K's is always a nice spot where you can recharge your mobile devices without asking.

Good to know. As for me, I've just got back from Belgium, where they're not so nice, and I cracked and got a charging thingy, which arrived yesterday. So not being a slave to the machine didn't last very long.
