The Telegraph hints that we are all...

Post by BigRobb »

...addicts.

Where does one purchase this super strength pot

Ooo another sensationalized headline from the Telegraph. I'm sure the Guardian put out a pro cannabis article the other week, tit for tat I believe.

I'll have a look around to see if I can find it.

Utter Crap!

Post by smoker_moby »

OK

If any1 in this fourm has ever felt like doing anything like this after after having a joint or a bong please let me know!!

the keyline in that whole statement is

"The 20-year-old has a family history of breakdowns, nervous disorders and schizophrenia."

I know cannabis can have effect like this on some people after extremley prolonged use but i think this is due to what it says in that statement, if the person in question has had history of illnesess like that or any1 in the family has had the same sort of history, that is more likely to be the case rather than smoking weed! This is what i think anyway

I have been smoking since i was 14 and most days for a long time now, i could stop if i want to but i dont drink and the most important thing is that i dont want to!

Sorry but when i read things like that it annoys me a little!!(can you tell?)

Cheers

Counting down the days only 22 to go!

HAHA, some funny shit there !! :D

The below quote made me think of Bill Hicks (R.I.P)

"Motivation, focus and energy literally go up in smoke. I know too many whose lives have been blighted by cannabis and who face bleak days tormented by fear and failure. The fallout on their families is equally heartbreaking."

Bill Hicks once said......

"They lie about marijuana. Tell you pot-smoking makes you unmotivated. Lie! When you're high, you can do everything you normally do just as well … you just realize that it's not worth the fucking effort. There is a difference."

Here is another from Bill Hicks......the man was an absolute legend !! :)

"I believe that God left certain drugs growing naturally upon our planet to help speed up and facilitate our evolution. Okay, not the most popular idea ever expressed. Either that or you're all real high and agreeing with me in the only way you can right now. [starts blinking]"

:D :D
Can you smell the freedom !!

Their last attempt at scaring people into keeping it illegal and I hate knowing that it will work for a time because the corporate media will keep playing stuff like this for years planting it again and again into peoples minds and most will never have any medical or scientific facts presented to them at all from any source and unfortunately most just do not care enough to get online and look through all the BS and discover the truth for themselves.

Real progress was made in Canada and Briton until BS like this started appearing in the papers a few years ago and I am certain whenever a day finally comes that any progress actually begins in our US Federal Gov that this will be the delaying tactic used over here to terrify all the parents into saving their children from the new boogeyman.

Blah blah blah.
The UK media have been tyranising cannabis use for years, with inaccurate and fanatical stories.
The usually tolerant Independant newspaper has changed its stance recently:

http://news.independent.co.uk/uk/health ... 368994.ece

Apparently, all that is ever available in the UK is skunk, which is 'stronger' than the resin that was available.
Considering that the 'resin' (Trades Description Act springs to mind) was on the whole a nasty low grade hash called 'soapbar', which had more contaminants than a 2 dollar hooker (henna, engine oil, coffee granules, and dog shit are some of the things that have been found), and less THC than my TV's remote control, it is hardly surprising that the 'skunk' is stronger.

Lol I missed this before. I saw the news whilst working overseas on the BBC website. smoker_moby I totally know where youre coming from!!

I was really pis$ed off with that terror newsflash and soent about 4 hours posting on an MSN forum topic on whether drug laws should be revised...phewey I blew off some steam on there. There are so many people so badly educated when it comes to drugs.

Ahhh and its not the telegraph you need to worry about its Vanessa Feltz (Daily Star article...check that crap out, it was from this week or last week) and the arch tabloid nemesis The Daily Mail. That in my eyes is a misinforming waste of trees.
You missed it right?
