"Out west" is the quintessential American experience. I'd land in Denver. Stock up on supplies and rent a car or better yet a camper. Visit Yellowstone, Badlands, and Grand Teton national parks just for starters. National and state parks are the closest we got to coffeeshops. That's where everyone goes to smoke and be at one with nature. Bliss. Peace.
