This will be better than the Stones Macky, for me.
Perhaps a Grateful Dead gig might come close.
What a long strange trip it is.

Re: Jheronimus Bosch Exhibition
Ok so I've bumped this for Treetop in particular as he and his good lady are zipping down to Den Bosch for this.. But as I didn't do a trip report this is my quick feelings on Den Bosch and the Exhibition.
OK so no coffeeshop admittance in town but for a day trip that hardly matters, especially with vapes. I dont know what time tickets you've got TT but I recommend having a ramble round the town and visit the Jheronimus Bosch Arts Centre definitely. http://www.jheronimusbosch-artcenter.nl/en, thats permanently there and it's very good plus you can get the lift up the tower for super duper visual opportunity etc.
What else? slightly quirky/spooky boat trips through the towns Hobbit sized canal rings, and tunnels (whooohoo!!
). Tons of other touristy stuff I expect. I visited St. Johns Cathederal on the famous cloth market and an uplifting lunchtime choral mass was taking place in the upper nave of the vast building and it was as it should be I thought. The Church is very ancient and in the way of Cathederals built to be big, powerful and to house many souls here and in the hereafter; and I think it probably does that very nicely. It felt like it but I didn't visit the catacombs to confirm but you know how it is with these places we can take that as read, and theStained Glass windows too, everywhere, acres of them
. I got lost in them for an hour or so until was aware my neck was clicking loudly and painfully, enough of that. Would have been good to have had our theatre glasses with me, some of the windows are very big and intricate kaleidoscopes. And good Herb of course.
The actual exhibition in the NoordBrabants Museum is the thing obviously and there it is. It's a small gallery compared to the big city ones hence the show selling out so quickly, but with fortitude and patience you can see and enjoy all the work, you wont be dissappointed. I came out in the front yard of the gallery half way through for a coffee and cake break on a bench in the sun, nice little cafe there, and even felt comfortable having a quiet contemplative toke on my pre-loaded Flowermate.
Enjoy it Mrs & Mr Treetop.

Thanks Spider. Great TR there and some ideas for what to do as we could only get evening tickets. The canal trip sounds like a possibility as well as that church perhaps.
Counting down the days.
