Is there a closing date (well obviously 4:20 but I mean before that)? In town this weekend, would like to vote on this year's experience rather than previous favourites...

I guess voting is open right up until the moment we decide to present the cup - I'm not 100% sure to be honest.
Macky will be out of bed soon (they get up late over there in Canada). I'm sure he'll confirm :)

I still have a vote to cast. I shall reserve it for whichever of the leaders I feel has the strongest products over the course of the week :)

Secretly I think I'm hoping Utopia take it for the simple reason that it's my go-to late nightcap spot and I think their menu has a very slightly more consistently high quality of product. Although my opinion on that could easily be skewed by the luck of the draw in the various products I've bought at the respective establishments over the past few years so I'm not 'hard and fast' on that.

I definitely think Highly Blessed puts just as much effort into creating a unique and interesting menu at Voyagers as Utopia do. And I certainly think both front-runners have among the best menu's in town - so I can see why it's a hotly contested race :)

If either CS had the facilities, size and decor of De Graal or Eerste Hulp they'd probably by my fave shops too.

All things factored, probably would have to go something like 1) 1e Hulp; 2) Boerejongens; 3) de Graal = good hash AND weed, diverse menu, "gezellig" interior (maybe Boerejongens Centre, doesn't tick that third box hard, but you could certainly call their smoke-room "smart" - in the sense that you brits use the word, not it's proper usage in American lexicon)

Overall my two favourite shops in the city are still Utopia and Het Ballonetje.

Utopia almost lost points this trip for virtually everything being €15+ but I'll give them the Holy Grail & Champagne Haze as being top notch, and despite not being much of a space makes up for it in just being so welcoming. I want to spend time in Utopia like I don't in a lot of other places with top priced product that lets me down more often than theirs.

Het Ballonetje, consistent and reasonably priced menu, nice people and just a nice place. Feels like what more coffeeshops once were.

Struggling with the third choice as I might be tempted to say t'Keteltje or Supermarkt after this trip and they're not on the list. Could put Siberie in proxy for the latter, also always a chilled out place. But then Paradox maybe edges Siberie in a straight choice. De Graal I've gone off a bit and Voyagers didn't do enough in product terms this time as its just a B&F for me there. Hmmmm.
