I think this place is already on the radar here. lamb jalfrezi, butter chicken, vegetable madras, rice were all very decent. Good quality meat, and proper spicy. The staff are attentive & will dial up or down the spice level to suit your tastes. The naan breads here are to die for- light and delicious. homemade Pistachio kulfi the best I've ever had, and they do a stonking cup of masala tea. I ate here three times in a 6 day trip O.O
Not too bad prices for the centre of Dam either, you can get a good meal for two for 50e. Hidden in plain sight, 2/3 of the way down Damrak.

Re: Restaurant Gandhi
Checked their homepage and menu and I feel like I should try the vegetarian set menu next time I am in town.
