Are they worth the €40 a g? I will probably never come across them in the UK so I am debating it! Also what's the best way to smoke them?

If you're not able to buy bho or make rosin urself, it's best way to get in touch of world of oils! 40e/g is expensive price but what i've heard they're worth of money if you want some special treat. Bong, pipe or vape is best way to smoke them.

I think they could be made for cheaper, but I've heard even those knowledgable/smart enough to produce their own oil/concentrates rave about them, so perhaps they could be. I don't think I would personally pay 40 per gram for any cannabis product that wasn't 100% full melt

I concur - it seems a bit gimmicky.
The kief they're rolled in will be fairly low quality as the amount of good quality sift that comes from an OZ of top shelf flowers can be as low as a couple of g's - and if they're rolling buds in oil, that's got to be some sticky shit - which means the oil is made from an alcohol extraction or something equally nasty. It ain't top quality BHO or rosin they're using is what I'm saying - otherwise the oil would be super stable and impossible to coat a bud with.
Overall I'd guess the price is hiked up slightly due to the gimmick factor.

Having said that - I wouldn't kick a moon rock out of bed just not sure I'd buy one.

Exactly my thought:D I'd rather get hash and press rosin, or spend a bit more on some concentrates.

I'm actually quite sure (from what I hear through the grapevine), that they use hash rosin to coat the nugs. I know damn well I could press some rosin from some all but assuredly danker hash, and smear it all over some choicer nugs and then coat it in what will likely be some tastier kief, bim,bam done moonrocks to go!

The only logistics issue I could forsee is getting the rosin to a volatile state where it's soupy but not degrading any terps or other cannabinoids. I saw a video with larby doing it one time but I'm not exactly sure what method he used to "liquify" the oil so to speak.

Also a "super-charged" joint, with a liberal dousing of kief and a few snakes of hash rosin should work just the same with less hassle, when all is said and done, no?

constant heat would work I guess, a Bain Marie for instance - but you'd need to keep it below 120°c to prevent boiling any terpenes off.

hahaha no it was genuinely my mistake and I have no idea why I switched metrics mid way through the description. I blame the bong
120°c would be 248°f which is too hot (terps begin boiling around 220°f)

No moonrocks on the menu! (must be a special they have or something) But they do have the full melt for 40e which could get u more bang for the buck...

Never tried the moonrocks though so I dont know, if any ACDer does, please put up a review in this thread!

Moonrocks are not on the menu but they sell them now all day because they're so popular. Grey area also have moonrocks and old church but what i've heard 1ehulp does best ones.

They use hash rosin to make them and yeah i think that the kief they use are not top shelf it's more like 10e p/g pollinator what Betty Too sells some times. I've saw some video where Larby makes those moonrocks and the oil looked pretty liquid, i don't know how it's made to that state but definetly need some heat. Anyone can do the math, max.10e p/g of weed, 10e p/g of mid grade kief and 20e for 0.5g of full melt from 1ehulp and you have 2.5g of moonrocks for 40e. So yeah, they're not cheap and you can make a lot cheaper ones by yourself. Personally i don't like mixing weed with hash or hash oil so that's why i haven't tried those 1ehulp's moonrocks.

I did get some Moonrocks on different occassions at 1e Hulp.... They differ quite a bit from time to time. Some gooey and wonderful... some less sticky and more hashy. When gooey it's money well spent...
