Claud, a bunch of S. Africans I work with have got me saying lekker all the time, then I saw it on some page about Amsterdam. My understanding is that it means something really good, like my grandmas fried chicken is lekker. My question is what they are saying in S Africa the same as dutch I was assuming so b/c of the history there, but wanted to make sure, in case the dutch use it for something different.

lekker - Dutch
shit - English
mon - Jamaican
Would this be tri-lingual?
