Landed safe and sound.... Few hours of tokeing and am I fucking mad stoned !

First reports
(I'll probably not be much good at telling you how strong any one strain is, I have a high tolerance at the best of times and when in dam I'm never smoking one strain or even leaving gaps between)

NYCD - CS Amnesia
Smells impeccable, beautiful classic New York diesil as i remember, taste transfers well. But... Won't buy again in a hurry, seemed to burn up very fast, very harsh on big draws. Possibly a rushed cure or maybe it's nutrient or pesticide related.

Amnesia Lemon - CS Amnesia
Spot on, gorgeous and very pungent smell, transfers very well, would definitely buy again, was one of the first joints I had when I got in and is responsible in part for one of the best buzzes I've been on in a long time !

Cookies Kush - CS Amnesia
Hmmm, this is a favourite strain of mine, I've smoked some fine examples at home and in dam. This example was a huge disappointment. Taste and flavour virtually not there, buds not so dense and maybe too dry ? Definitely a decent smoke and wouldn't turn my nose to it if it was all I had but if you smoked gram I got today for the first time you wouldn't have much opinion on the strain! Will be seeking cookies kush again before I leave.

Liberty haze - CS Amnesia
Friend of mine baught this and from what I smoked and smelt in the bag it's a very nice smoke, smell transferred with authority.

Kosher .... Something .... Grey area
Bud tender recommended this as we asked for something related to a strain called grey bone we had before. This was ok some way related and fuck me it did impress. Deffintly brought me back to the memories of
Grey bone... Taste was so good.

More to come ... That's my limit for now getting my ass kicked by some tangerine dream right now

Still haven't actually tried everything that I've baught yet but few more ...

Tangerine dream - Barneys
Any one who's tried will tell you how intense and pungent the smell can be, Barneys did not disappoint, really well cured and crispy, amazing taste transfer.

Utopia haze - Barneys
Another fucking amazing example, intense smoke fucking love it, maybe a little sticky cure could have been a little better but not much !

Super critical - greenhouse harlemerstraat
Asked the bud tender whats the best dried and cured buds in at the moment, he smiled and pointed at super critical. Fucking thanks man! These buds were perfectly cured and dried, really nice taste transfer and the flavour was very classic critical, delighted with it will be back for more.

NYCD - greenhouse harlemerstraat
Yes. Yes. Fucking YES! As a huge diesil fan I wasn't too happy with the nycd I got in amnesia earlier .. I wasn't ready to give up. Glad I didn't ... These buds were basically perfect. Very intense and clean taste transfer, buzzing about this one !!

Cookies kush - Barneys
After a disaster in amnesia earlier I needed to try this again and Barneys example was much better, amazing taste however the gsc taste is a little more subte than I remember. Not the best cookies I've had but was a delicious smoke

Somari - dampkring harlemerstraat
Gorgeous sour d flavour, well dried and cured. Taste didn't transfer over to intensely but was a very nice smoke, still a bit left hoping it grabs my attention more when I smoke it again.

Dr grinspoon - dampkring harlemerstraat
Effect was a decent sati a buzz for sure, taste a little mild and not the strongest I've had this strain, wasn't too fussed. Had this before and remember it nearly blowing my head off... will be trying amnesia's version soon to try recreate that

Dr grinspoon - amnesia
Had to call back later after restock, smoked it first thing the next day. Appearance is pretty miserable which is completely normal for the strain, smell didn't impress. But when smoked it did taste fantastic. I felt the sativa lift no problem but I do remember it being more intense on previous visits. definitely a good example of the strain, not the best.

Pinapple kush - dampkring harlemerstraat
Spot on. Super impressive smell followed by a equally impressive taste. Dry and cured. Epic

Vanilla kush Barneys
Another standout smell, dry and cured .. Taste was present and intense but I wouldn't say it represented the smell that much but certainly would recommend

Platinum girls scout - voyagers
First time in voyagers I thought it has to be tried after the reviews I've read here ... Can't believe I've missed it all these years, of the few strains sampled so far quality is amongst the highest.. A way the gsc ... Past the point of feeling individual effects but this has been one of many stand out strains so far, super impressive buds well dried and dosnt represent the mass growing techniques needed to fill the demand. Buy this strain.

Headband.. Voyagers
Fucking yeah ! Friend baught this and I've only had a small smoke but the taste was epic, intense, clean. Amazing flavour, quailty same as platinum gsc...

Testing Tuesday purchased and remains untested smells fucking great smell, if the quality keeps on on the next strains I sample this will be a new favourite spot for sure

I had every intention of trying to document every strian smoked but alas a day and a half in and the smoke took over, trying to piece together now is not happening lol, but to summarise from what I remember;

Voyagers, grey area, 1e, green place, borejongans, het Ballonnetje and Barneys are all knocking out undeniably potent smoke. Majority of the smoke I got was pretty well flushed, at times I couldn't help but think some of the homegrown I get at home was better flushed but that could be pesticides, I have no experience of them really but the guy at home dosnt use them for sure, flushes really well and in my opinion his stuff burns better than everything I smoked in dam this time. Could be just down to the extra time he can give each plant or it could be the so called contaminants in the coffee shop stuff.

Barneys drying/curing was a bit intermittent, slight similarity between all strains, I think there's pesticides in use for sure, that being said I enjoyed the smoke, tangerine dream for life ! Blue cheese isn't quite the flavour it used to be but I've noticed this from someone who grows from seed at home.

Voyagers really impressed me I ended up repeat buying the lemon bubble, platinum gsc and original blueberry.

Green place shoreline was off the hook, probably one of the best I smoke in regards to transfer of smell and Intensity of taste. Northern lights was nice too, smelt a bit earthy which I normally don't like but tasted far better than the smell, true classic strain.

I don't think grey area have ever sold a bad bag, bud tenders are helpful and know their shit, greybone was on stock and I was like a kid at Christmas, didn't get to sample much else cause I just kept buying greybone !

We spent a shit load on out first visit to 1e, wasn't gonna be told I couldnt have moon rocks so baught dry sift and a gram of each of the other 40e menu. Used some 80e wax (melted on a spoon) from hunters with a gsc type from 1e with dry sift from 1e and bang we had moon rocks ! Great menu at 1e, returned on my last day for some lemon haze was very nice

Het Ballonnetje is well worth the trek, lovely stuff the only I rember was the white ballon but we definitely loved the taste of all the samples we had there.

Amnesia is still one of my favourite places to smoke but no longer a fav to buy from, amnesia lemon was some really proper shit. Nycd and cookie kush disappointed over all.

Borejongans shit was good I got a sour diesil type the friend got kush, budtender was super helpful and friendly, even if he did forget to give me 30e change, I kind of believe it was a genuine mistake which he rectified when I reminded him.

There's loads of coffee shops to avoid but luckily we didn't get burned this time, didnt actually visit any coffeeshop on red light area other than green place and voyagers. And other than hunters and Barneys lounge I THINK I've
Mentioned every coffeeshop I was in, which wasn't that many for a week stay ! ... Shit bluebird aswell, went for some cheaper hash and enjoyed mixing it with haze, vowed to return and never did.

Won't be my last trip but will be my last week long venture, amsterdam is still some spot for a smoker but honestly I've either become a little bored with it or the quailty (mainly drying and curing) does seem to be on the downhill overall ! I'll deffintly be back for a sneaky 2 night break but on Canada later this year and Barcelona next year for more stoner adventures :)

Actually now I think about it. Dampkring, greenhouse harlemerstraat didn't even get a mention either ... Smoke from both dampkring was good but I don't think it stood out, tastes were good but not that intense.

If memory serves me right the intensity of taste and dry/cure impressed us in greenhouse harlemerstraat
