Aha! Land ahoy, is it Blighty or have we discovered a passage to the new world? Wherever, I hope the Mrs is there with my dinner.

Re: The Wheel is Turning
It was Little Blighty all right, and the lights were still on, so I think thats promising. The guy at passport control tore my passport up though, said we aint having any more of that EU crap now pal!
No he didn't really.
Home
to the lovely Mrs. but too late for dinner but I troffed some overpriced schnitzel and chips on the ferry, absolute f''in rubbish, almost had me wishing they had a Mc Ds onboard or even a Febo kripkrokket maybe!
Cheers for reading people I hope I've given you a bit of entertainment at least. I feel good.
I'll put a few more pictures up in a day or two.
Cheers Richie.

Really entertaining read spidergawd
your pictures of the canals looked beautiful, shame the canals in England are filled with bikes and trolleys
. Very interesting to read a travelogue not based in Amsterdam, I almost forget that Holland is a whole Country and there's a lot more to it than Amsterdam. Thank you for writing this up and thanks to ftcarer for the pictures
. Cheers mate!
sit back, blaze ganja and chill

Thanks for reading and I'm glad you enjoyed it. Most of my trips in recent years have been outside the Amstertropolis, so much more interesting to be a traveler.avfc-herbalist wrote:Really entertaining read spidergawdyour pictures of the canals looked beautiful, shame the canals in England are filled with bikes and trolleys

Re: The Wheel is Turning
It was very enjoyable mate! I'll dig deep in the archives this evening and try and find more of your travelogues if there are any? It does seem to be more interesting being a traveler. I'm thinking about other parts of the Netherlands to visit now, dodging the wiet pass as I gospidergawd wrote:Thanks for reading and I'm glad you enjoyed it. Cheers again for the report, Spidergawd, seems you enjoyed your bike tour pretty much! Interesting both Witte de With and Dizzy Duck renovating by the way, looking forward to visiting them again at some point.

Great as always, and wonderful pictures. If I ever get round to cycling to or around Groningen, I'll dedicate my trip to you. And keep flattering you in the hope that you'll grace us with some of your memories of Old Amsterdam.

Re: The Wheel is Turning
Well a bit of a gap before wrapping this up, one reason being my picture hosting thing (Picasa) has changed and I'm a bit flummoxed to upload a lot of pictures as an opening link and I haven't sussed it out yet
. Heres a link to them if anyone fancies a look.

Very random snaps, but starting in London at the station and progressing through my trip. Ride up to Scheveningen, wandering round the Hague, I love that city it's very International and dynamic. General wandering around, then to Delft and tripping around there. My ride to Rotterdam, the strange infinity pictures were taken in one of the Bojimans van Biuningan museums exhibit installations.http://www.boijmans.nl/en/7/calendar-ex ... UOM4teuxL5. Far out man!
Love that Museum for years
. Then back to Delft, more wandering, and the trip back home.
So I guess thats the end of that one comrades, thanks for reading. And a big Thank you to those that supported our fund raising appeal. Again thank you.
