CopenhagenCouple live-ish from the dam
Here we go guys, bloody live from the dam, will be back with more info from time to time...
So far the gist is Easy Times, Boerjoengens, Green Place for consistent top picks, de Kilos is Fucking amazing, DLN is a really nice amend cool dude, Batavia is our new Bed w.o. the weed and Dave, AC and a lot of other places are still very nice!
BBL
CC
P.s. get the 24K from Easy Times, at 12 or 13 E it is a freaking steal, DLN thought it might be shoreline based (or was it supermazing from Boer? Think shoreline), and it smelled as tasted more or less the same when compared...

Re: CopenhagenCouple live-ish from the dam
Shoreline aroma was what I smelled off that Kushdee. So I think a stop by Voyagers is in order...
I'll be in touch shortly, just doing some household chores at the moment...
And thanks it was great meeting and chatting with both of you as well!

Our pleasure man!
And you are of course completely right, KD from voyagers had shoreline from GP aroma (both are great BTW but KD @ voyagers better value a few euros cheaper).
At Easy times right now having som Moonshine Haze (15 E / g). Very potent lemony, almost diesel smell in the tub and bag, translates so so to the taste in joint, will try vape - suspect better). Good mellow high (little muffled by the 3-4 hashes earlier including cheese cake hash from GP, massawa royal (really very nice, but not perfect classic maroc, seems super clean but maybe a rosin tech test will tell differently) and a couple of weeds. Having the organic space cake @ 10 E - very tasty coconut and cookie crumble (effects, if any, will be mentioned later, if we remember
). Lighting up a half g 24K hash joint now and will be back (had to get a g more of it this morning, killer value). Then off to Boer west and foodhallen a bit, then who knows...
DLN : text us if u have the time, but no pressure dude - understand that u have every day stuff to do man!

Re: CopenhagenCouple live-ish from the dam
(Edited with smoke details) We just got installed in our apartment for the next five days just three minutes walk south of Haarlemmerstraat (and it is the bomb !) after three fabulous days and nights at the pig uptown (next to the top "slim part of vondel"). Hostel life at the pig was wild, fun, a little dirty, amazing and full of the nicest (and in some cases nuttiest) people, but it is nice to have a big ass apartment in a totally different neighborhood now! BTW the pride parade starts more or less at our door step and we have big windows we can hang out , party of the year and we are dead center. It is going to be off the hook!
But quick sum up for now:
Landed a little past seven at Schipol Monday after having slept for some three hours, wait an eternity (not really, but 23,5 minutes seems a long time) for luggage and trains to centraal. Off direction Barney's, they don't open till nine and we want smoke so go to Picasso which our finely tuned senses told us was open .
Got drinks and a g of OG @ 12 and a G of Cream Marco @ 10.
OG had OK cure but gnarly flush, really harsh and not what you what for a morning smoke. Decent effect for the price, but ditched half cuz it wasn't worth smoking the rest. Maroc was much more like it, by no means a top hash but very decent and all around and fair value considering location and t.o.d.
Tram to leidse, check in at the piggy time, but wait! It's only ten and easy Times is around the block. So off to easy Times carying luggage.
This is much more like it, thanks to DLN for tip. ET is for sure a top shop for everything.
Had 24K hash and strawberry haze (@ like 13 a g maybe). Both top choices and good value. Haze has nice smell in tub, good bag appeal and smooth, smooth smoke. Spot on curing (like everything we had here, but one that was still almost perfect), flushed as good as any CS weed we had here. Nice mellow but clear sativa high, cut right through the fuzzy effects from the two previous js.
24K was fire, terpy and rich in the bag. Powerful but clean smoke, taste for you and all your friends and a freaking steal at 12 (batch Wednesday was less terpy but still power).
Off to piggy for real this time, check in, smoke some of the third and fourth buy from ET (that Mr. CC made going out the door) and then off to get bikes at Mike's. Super place, great service and prices and cruiser bikes, perfect. We hit Boerjoengens center and pick up two block hash (one was gsc and the other ??) and two weed, one off which was Supermazing (had this later and it really was!
we remember it as being around 10 E so great value). All four buys (and later buys from Boer west) are awesome!
Somewhere enroute to AC we stopped for a smoke and some buy we don't recall, then AC for kibbeling with tartar sauce and the best stroopewaffles of AC (fresh).
Then Katsu to toke up for an hour, buy Amnesia hia (sp?) and white choko. Had the AM Hia two days later and honestly it is the worst buy besides the OG Kush from Picasso. Disappointing and the white choc was also nothing to write home about (although it was many times better than the hash).
Check in later with more...

Re: CopenhagenCouple live-ish from the dam
Wow, it has been some fun, wild, wonderful and awesome first half of the trip... and what a trip!
We had some great times with fellow acd'ers, saw many new and cool places and smoked, vaped and dabbed our way through s ton of the finest the city has to offer!
After katsu Monday things are a little hazy for a bit, but figure we hit s shop more, drove around a bit and ended at hostel where we hung in the bar and smoked and shot the shiz with the few guest that hung in and elements of the (much more seasoned) crew.
Next morning it was up at around half eight for Mr. CC while the missus took s few more on the other side.
After a few hours with coffee, splifs and the crew to entertain him Mr. CC was joined by the missus and a quick Brecht later a a couple of hints it was off to ET for a late, a couple of loosas and a few buys, the details slip away... again perfect service (got free blueberry cheesecake that was light and awesome) and very good gear.
Then off to first Boer center and then Voyagers by way of green place (got shoreline which was good, pungent and we'll cured and flushed) plus caramello which was the same consistent top lekker and great value as seven years ago. GP is IOHO the best place in the city for caramello.
No one showed for the t&t at voyagers, but that changed at batavia a little later...

Re: CopenhagenCouple live-ish from the dam
Thanks man, we have had a completely magnificent trip so far and still have three days to go, if we don't figure out a way to stay a little longer...
And yeah, pride was nuts in the best possible of ways,,very comparable to KD in terms of the mood, albeit far from KD in terms of size, duration etc.
Off to bed. Over five if the morning....

Re: CopenhagenCouple live-ish from the dam
This is too damn good guys, we are staying some more days... Moving flight later in the day and have fixed our kitty-sitter at home, just need to figure out accommodation and we're good for another three days.
BTW: the city might have changed (or rather, it has changed), but dammit if this isn't still the best place on earth.
Check in with you guys later, of to do a little shopping and visit CS otherplace in honour of the final day of pride!
Peace, love and good tokes from Amsterdam!

Thnx guys, it is amazing here!
World citizen, happy that you're almost there, drop a line if you wanna meet up for a little t&t...
Today it's wake-and-bake with DLN and Letting for breccy. In the undying words of the Beastie Boys "when we're in Holland we eat the pannenkoeken". Then photo safari and getting more lost purposefully...
