Morning!

Well after a few days of humming and hawing about booking a flight I reserved an apartment this morning, the owner called me and asked when I was arriving and I then just booked my flight Flight is leaving Glasgow at 2pm so the heat is on to get sorted! Checked in online and only have hand luggage. Will get euros and small bits and bobs when I go to airport! Ahh im really nervous at same time this is my first solo trip!

Cheers OHM! This forum has been the boot up the erse to go myself and I woke up this morning and thought feck it! Booked my apartment then flight. Showered, threw stuff into a bag, down to Ramadens for euros and straight to airport! Currently sitting with a pint of overpriced Coors waiting for gate to come up. Delayed for about 20minutes so far

As much as I love dragging along my girlfriend or my mates I do love a good solo trip.

Got here safe and sound! Started speaking to a couple waiting to board and by chance they were sitting behind me! I had to put her handbag in my bag so she could get her hand luggage on

On the plane finally after a delay! In Amsterdam in no time it seemed and me and couple stuck together and on the train. They havent been in years and it is their wedding anniversary tomorrow so I guided them with me towards 420. Slightly selfish as its my first port of call but we all bought some smoke and bought some drinks and skinned up! I went for the NYD again always my first choice and also bought 420 haze. 27e for both. Couple bought 2x hash for L - maroc caramel and the cream and her partner D got blueberry and something else. Pics of my choices to follow!

Then I decided it was time to find my apartment! Meeting up with couple tomorrow at 12pm, solo is going well so far!
Quick look at the map and off I walked...and walked..and walked! Got here after 5 minutes of dtanding in the street not having a clue Cracking place I have and can smoke. Its in Jordan area lovely.

Anyone in town get in touch! Just getting freshened up then heading back into centre Utopia first then make my way towards Voyagers area

Change of plan heading to Paradox as I am 4min walk away and ive never tried it!

Back at apartment smoking a spliff of Shoreline think it is, from Voyagers. I have walked for hours and for miles! Couldnt bloody find Paradox right enough ended up walking in circles

After walking for an age walked past Black Star and decided to go in. Bought Candy Kush and Blueberry. Only smoked blueberry wasnt any great taste.

Walked down to Utopia and bought Cherry Bomb and Grape Ape and sat and smoked the grape. More testing required!

Bought some munchies from AH to take back with me. Went on a mission to Voyagers and took a wrong turn and ended up miles away! Got there in the end and it was packed. Buy n Fly! Bought Lemon something and Shoreline. Weed reports to come for the unsmoked stuff! Hadnt eaten all day so stopped at Yu Hung think it was called opposite wok 2 wok and had a munch then home to apartment! Day 1 complete

Ah dude I'm now even more jealous picturing the sanctuary of that bench outside Utopia after a hard days strain-hunting, seshing and cobble grinding - always a great evening spot in the Summer.
It's 12:27 - just enough time to grab a bag of citral, say hi to Ingi and roll a doob for the stroll home...

GreenGhirl, have a great time! My first extended soli trip was in May, and i had an amazing time. We all must live vicariously through you, so please keep the reports coming!

Great read, amazing first day in dam!! My next trip this fall is going to be my first solo trip as well well, actually i'm staying at a friend's place in Noord, but i will be solo all day because he's at work until 11pm. Can't wait to be there!!
Have a blessed trip and burn a fat one for us!!
