Den Haag August 2016

Post by Buffalostints »

just a quick heads up :)

cafe cremers / small shop to buy weed no smoking allowed on the left a bar on the right entrance the bar has a air conditioned smoking room downstairs ...no smoking upstairs ,,,,(cremers claims to be the only place to drink a beer (a pint is 3,90 euro) and have a smoke at the same time in the whole city )

Weed :

original tahoe kush / 8 out of 10 16 euro a g (most expensive on the menue )
og kush eco / 9 out of 10 (pure knock out weed) 12 euro a g
so mango / 8 out of 10 ( great taste ) 12 euro a g

Hash :
Tempel Balls 7 out 10 (average black but not bad) 11 euro a g
black ivy isolator 9 out of 10 (very strong great taste) 16 euro a g
amnesia Maroc 8 out of 10 ( good buzz good taste ) 12 euro a g

the menue is fairly large so didnt try it all but it all looks great and i was surprised with the quality and prices overall!
the staff in the coffeeshop and bar are very friendly and welcoming!

Dizzy Duck

friendly staff small shop with a enclosed smoking room that was crowded so i didnt stay

Weed :

White AMNESIA 8 out of 10 (great taste frosty dense bud ) 10,50 euro a g
KO Kush 8 out of 10 (name doesent lie ) 10 euro a g

Freak Brothers

Small shop no smoking allowed very small menue 3 weed two hashes

Weed : enemy of the state 7 out of 10 (not much taste ) 10 euro a g
Hash : King Hassan 8 out of 10 ( nice creamy dark brown great earthy taste) 10 euro a g

Blue & White

Small shop with a smoking room and outside seating ( you are not allowed to roll or smoke weed at the outside seating are !!!!)

small menue 4 weeds two hashes

Weed Amg Haze 9 out 10 (best tasting weed so far ) 10 euro for 1,2 g
Cheese 8 out of 10 ( great taste ) 10 euro a g

quality and prices beat amsterdam by far but the city seems a little shy no public smoking most places are buy and fly ...

wanted to visit coffeeshop magic but it was closed due to renovations....

Thanks for your input, Stints :D! I'm sorry I saw your need in the travel plans section too late but it looks to me you made your way around! On the other hand I would have more or less only recommended Cremers(for socialising)and Dizzy Duck(gear). If you ever make it back can't stop propagate visiting Seventh Planet for often quite good moroccan hash pricewise('Hija-Hija', 8,5€/g)!
There's always be next time, huh? Like the beach at Scheveningen, too.
Quite a bummer you are only allowed now to smoke downstairs in Cremers, is that really true as it would in my humble opinion proably kill the atmosphere in there. Don't know about pot friendly bars by the way as am not much after that one.
Have to disagree about quality of offered wares in The Hague though, it's a bit cheaper but not better in my experience and am going every year mostly.

That's the second time I've heard you can't smoke on the main floor at Cremers, so it's probably true. I was told someone had been caught smoking tobacco. Pity. Like Jesscass, I've never liked smoke-friendly bars all that much, but Cremers was the one place I could imagine going with my drinking friends, and all of us being happy.

i forgot to mention coffeeshop blue & white had a pinballl machine (the new ghostbusters)

the crow has a fairly large but badly aired smoking area with vending machines they buzz you in after you buy gear (sign says only smoke gear bought from them)

the smoking room has a pinball machine and a pool table...

@Fat_Old_Dwarf

Thanks and agree with you.

@Stints

Good to know then :) check out moroccan Sympathy they used to have nice enough hash for 10€/g, nothing outstanding but solid. Bummer you can't consume there anymore or sipping on some moroccan style mint tea as it's strictly buy&fly nowadays but worth a look for the hash mayhaps.
Dizzy Duck offers quite nice moroccan every now and then, too. By the way Cremers is charging 16€/g now that's horrible, really. Thanks for the information! On the other hand don't buy there much anyway, only about atmosphere.
Greenhouse(not owned by greedy Arjan from Amsterdam)isn't bad too and it's near the Duck. Enjoy the rest of your trip!
